That is good. That way there is no extra charge for miles if they use his car.
The lady I have come now is a friend of my DIL and she too is in need of the money.
Keep your fingers crossed that your dad can get help for cost from the VA.
My husband was a Veteran from the Korean war and he couldn’t even get help for prescription costs. They have made it harder for veterans to get benefits. It seems you have to have served during certain war times and certain years etc. and my husband didn’t fit in any of their catgories.

I don’t know what to think of this. It got dark so I went out and called sable. It was very unusual that she wasn’t right near the house and came running over. I was halfway down the driveway before I heard a meow. She never goes that far. Well she and Cadbury were together. I hope he’s not a bad influence on her! He better not have introduced her to my friend Alicia’s house, that one is at the very beginning of the street!

Thanks. You so much for all the wonderful information on Washington. I really didn’t realize how diverse the terrain was and the extent of the mountains. I’ve only been to Washington once in 2009 and that was basically to Mount Saint Helens and it was winter so we couldn’t get around too much the passes were full of snow,
All the parks sound really fascinating. I did not realize that big volcano was still considered active. Does that mean at any time it could blow just like Mount Saint Helens did?
I found it fascinating that you said your house is built on a Sandune. I’m only familiar with Sandunes on the Atlanta coast and they shift around all the time. I’m guessing that couldn’t be a problem or else your house would’ve fallen.
You live close to Walla Walla -a former freeper who was part of the group that formed the Right Reasons was from Walla Walla and her mother-in-law is from the western Eastern part of the state. The Walla Walla girl is Polly and the Eastern coast mother-in-law is Shirley. She’s a cat person big-time.

Mt. Rainier is not active; it's classified as dormant. The last major eruption was around 6800 years ago.
Mt. St. Helens is classified as active.
