Rusty-such a sad scenario this all was for your family.. never a good time but somehow Christmas seems to make is more difficult

I am so sorry to see this Rusty. I know how hard it is to let someone go. She sounds like she was a jewel of a DIL.

Made 5 egg omelette this AM that Jeff and I split. Used one more egg for brownies. Down to four eggs. Thought … need to check with neighbor around block and see if his girls(cluck, cluck, cluck) have been prolific… maybe a dozen eggs?
Before I could write him, got note from his…will you be home? Can I drop off some eggs?
Short time later he comes with bag containing 4 dozen eggs!

Will make egg salad for sure. I love egg salad on good bread with sliced cheese, tomato and avocado. Have all on hand.

January 20th will be a great day for more reasons than one.
I was just reading some news about this poorly kept secret about Biden being a puppet from day one, and others managing him and running the show. It made me think that this is tantamount to fraud. A fraud on the American people. Fraud vitiates everything. I seriously think a case could be made.

Only slept about 20 minutes,
but fell asleep so fast, it felt like passing out!
Then snapped suddenly awake.
Then the cat came and stood on my tummy
“making biscuits!”
Then the hone rang-aw, forget it!
Here, but grumpy!

I would be dying if it was that warm in my house. I keep it at 67-68 during the day and 63-64 at night. But I have a LOT of insulation on me. :-)

Those are good temps for me also
We have no thermostat as such. The temps dip severely in PM so turning off/down space heaters not wise
When I had a thermostatically controlled system 65 winter temps were good
Summer didn’t over tax AC - 75 or so
In the time I posted earlier it’s down to 65

Rusty, this is just one of those times when I wonder why God is taking someone so wonderful and letting others stay.
