Our neighbor, who we recently lost to cancer had/has nice garage complete with a lift that we rent from anytime we need it.
We take turns taking care of each other, here=)
It’s amazing how HR surgery has changed, they had him up and walking almost as soon as he woke up!
He has hardly stopped!
I keep reminding him not to undo what the Doc did.

It was so good to see her! She looks good, and was in good spirits.
She is still petrified by the ptsd (it’s all related to the elections) and the best way to describe it is like the ptsd when someone has been in a war. No matter how much time passes, it still feels like it was just yesterday.
Now, the good news is that she got her brain mapping back yesterday, where they look at the red areas and see if there are any changes. The ptsd areas are still red, BUT the areas that represent the ocd and the constant rumination showed some improvement. That is what I was most concerned about, as the thoughts are non-stop and drive her mad. If the rumination would stop, then I suspect the ptsd would subside as well. It’s the constand fearful thoughts that feed the trauma.
They seem to have been improved by the electro-magnetic pulse treatments, and she has already found a very good clinic up here that will continue them.
So, I have this lovely clock in my living room that chimes every hour, but it has not worked for a couple of years now. It stopped chiming for some reason and I couldn’t get it to start. Natalie came over at about 5 minutes before 2:00 and we sat down with a glass of wine. At 2:00, out of the blue, the clock chimed 2. I was stunned. It has been quiet for so long, I wondered for a split second what the noise was lol. We visited for a bit and it chimed again at 3:00. I’m taking it as a sign!
Going over for charcueterrie (sp) in about an hour and watching them decorate the tree. I just tell them where they missed spots, as, for some reason, I intensely dislike decorating trees lol.

I finally feel like she’s going to be ok. Praise God and thanks so much for the many prayers.
If she’s on the mend, I can’t think of a better Christmas gift for all of us.

I think I sort of know how she feels. Back in 2006 I was almost hit head on. In preventing that from happening I ended up hitting the cement barrier going the opposit direction. I have not taken that route since then. It does still seem like it was yesterday.
