Am I The Only One – Aaron Lewis
“Do they have any children?”
They both have grown children from previous marriages. He has two in California and she has three. Two girls living here in WA and a son in the Marines. They have none of their own. Married for 17 yrs is all so to old for anymore.
Sounds like they have a big family to enjoy. Prayers for their health.
I heard rumors of his resignation, or an early election were coming this afternoon. Never count on a teenaged narcissistic pansy girl to do the right thing.
I had a renter from Phoenix who stayed at our house because her mother, in her 90’s , smoked a lot, 2 packs a day for 50 years maybe. Anyway, her mother had a respiratory crisis, ended up in ICU on ventilator. Finally got off and had to be maintained on 2 Liters of O2. She did quit, so it is not impossible, she realized that she did not want to go back on the vent. But I also realize that it isn’t easy to quit for most people. I had a patient on a vent, of course they could not speak, just use sign language. The family was trying to figure out what he was trying to tell them, they were all getting very frustrated. Finally I looked at him and asked him if he was asking for a cigarette, his eyes lit up and shook his head yes. Of course you can not smoke on a vent. So we all laughed, except for him.
Will be interesting to see what happens in Canada .crossing fingers for you Judy! !

BREAKING:
🚨🚨
Judge Juan Merchan just rejected President Trump’s attempt to overturn his conviction in the alleged Hush money case, despite the SCOTUS Presidential immunity ruling.
Merchan was always going to uphold the 34 felony charges.
He and his daughter are both corrupt.

Need to clarify. When I said the Madison shooter event was close , I didn’t mean geographically. I meant close as far as hitting close to home - Home / family.
“having a devil of time locating small whist broom & Dust pan”
I’ve been looking for one of those! Walmart here didn’t have one, neither did anywhere else I checked please let me know what you find.
“They both decided they had enough and refused any more being intubated to remove the oxygen.”
How awful, so they just suffocated? I think I would want to change my mind during it
Well, no. When you refuse intubation you do get anxious initially and breath faster, but you eventually loose consciousness and go to sleep before you pass. So, unpleasant at first as you struggle to breath, but if you are resigned to pass it usually doesn’t last too long.
I know full well how hard it is to quit smoking. I started when I was 15-16 and continued for 41 years. I don’t think I ever got to 2 packs a day though.
I tried quiting many times but could not make it past 3 days. It took until my mother was dying of congestive heart failure in 1996 that I finally realized how much smoking controlled me, that I, and my brother, couldn’t even stay long enough in her house to be with her for very long. She would remove her oxygen and come out and smoke with us.
She died a month later at 76 yrs. That September I said no more. I did use the Nicotine CQ patches to help me plus deep inhaling on the hospital breath thing they had given my husband when the terrible urge hit me. That made it like I was inhaling a cigerette.
I now also have COPD the doctor tells me. So much for them always telling you if you quit smoking your lungs would go back to normal. That is what they used to say.
When I first took the breathing test the technician was amazed at how well I did considering how long I had smoked. But several years later my breathing test was not so good.
“intubated to remove the oxygen”
The “CO2” in a blood test refers to the measurement of carbon dioxide levels in your blood. If I understand it the C02 displaces the amount of oxygen your lungs can hold. Intubation breaths for them and helps them to get oxygen.
Did they ever put them on a Bi-Pap machine when they went home and for when they slept at night and during the day? If not that is sad because it would have helped to keep the Co2 from building up in their lungs again. I am not sure but Medicare may not have paid for that machine back when your loved ones had the problem.
I pray that my son gets more used to wearing the mask and keeping it on long enough for it to really help him. Medicare requires you to at least use a C-Pap (which I have) and a Bi-Pap at least 4 hours at a time for them to pay for the use of it.
Lol!!! I cleaned out my small laundry room cubby the other day and found one that I forgot I had.
It looks brand new. The reason I forgot it is because it got to hard on my back to bend over so I got me one similar to this one.
