Considering the slanders I've heard since 'Nam, "hateful right-winger" is almost laughable.
I distinctly recall a bunch of vets I ran with while in Grad School called ourselves "The Baby Burners Study Group". (Oddly, I was the only NAVAIR type in the group but by that time anything that jacked up the hippies was okay by me.)
