An old man from Alabama moved to New York and decided to look for work.
He walked into a massive department store and asked for a job.
The manager, intrigued, asked, “Do you have any sales experience?”
The man nodded confidently, “Yes, sir. I was a salesman back home in Alabama.”
The manager liked his enthusiasm and hired him. “You start tomorrow. I’ll check in after we close to see how you did.”
The first day was tough, but the old man persevered.
At the end of the day, the manager came to check on him. “So, how many customers did you sell to?”
The man smiled and said, “Just one.”
The manager was furious. “One?! Our salespeople average 20 to 30 customers a day! How much was the sale for?”
The old man replied, “$121,237.65.”
The manager’s jaw dropped. “What on earth did you sell?!”
The old man explained, “Well, first, I sold him a small fishhook. Then a medium fishhook. Then a larger one. After that, I sold him a fishing rod. He mentioned going fishing on the coast, so I took him to the boat section, and he bought a twin-engine Boston Whaler. Then he realized his Honda Civic couldn’t tow it, so I sold him a truck.”
The manager, still in shock, asked, “A man came in for a fishhook, and you sold him a boat and a truck?!”
The old man grinned. “No, sir. He actually came in to buy t.a.m.p.o.n.s for his wife. I just said, ‘Your weekend’s shot—you might as well go fishing.’”
The next day, the old man got a promotion.

My one concern is that you said it pulls it from the air just like your phone. That’s where the problem is here .
the phone can’t get anything and with the Internet it might be the same.
I’ve spent the last hour trying to connect with Amazon to order Health supplements and I get spinning wheels. 20 minutes trying to add one thing to carts I get you no longer connected try again. You know that picture with the sad looking dog and said could not connect try again.
I’ll check into it though. You don’t have the answers for everything -although you usually do smile.

My first experience with lettuce wraps was at P.F. Chang’s - during happy hour. The lettuce is a wrap around either chicken or tofu wonderfully seasoned. The give you a bowl of filling and half head of butter lettuce. Some dipping sauces DIY
Happy hour is slow time prior to dinner and they hope you stay😊 Jim and I had a favorite restaurant in Ohio. We always met for lunch as he had to attend to his mother and be home by about 430. It was called Danny boys. A takeoff restaurant on Frank Sinatra and the rat pack. Wonderful Italian food
they open at 11 and that’s when they’re happy hours started and ran till five.
Some are 3-5 - much variation depending on management
I’m remembering either last year or year prior you came home and told your hubby several more were joining you for dinner.

Pizza on naan crust. Not exactly USA traditional Thanksgiving meal. Having our Tday meal in a week. Son Jeff poultried (is that a word?) out after eating a rotisserie chicken last three consecutive days!

By the President of the United States of America—
A Proclamation
Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor—and Whereas both Houses of Congress have by their Joint Committee requested me “to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.”
Now therefore I do recommend and assign Thursday the 26th day of November next to be devoted by the People of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be—That we may then all unite in rendering unto him our sincere and humble thanks—for his kind care and protection of the People of this country previous to their becoming a Nation—for the signal and manifold mercies, and the favorable interpositions of his providence, which we experienced in the course and conclusion of the late war—for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty, which we have since enjoyed—for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national One now lately instituted, for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and in general for all the great and various favors which he hath been pleased to confer upon us.

Nope, I’ve had a cold with a fever so I had it put off until the 17th.
Along with this cold/fever, I’ve had rather weird, phantasmagorical dreams. Pictures would come to me fast, like 5 or more per second. Vivid colors and nothing would make sense.
I wrote my hubs that it was if I were taking quinine. Then, I’ve realized. I’ve been taking pseudophedrine! I’ve turned into a meth head!
That has definitely stopped. I’ve gone cold turkey!

And dang - still connected but too tired to stay up
