CNN presidential historian Tim Naftali said Friday on “CNN Newsroom ” that 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris can be successful running a “vibe” campaign.
Guest host Alex Marquardt said, “One of the interesting things when you talk to Democrats about where the vice president stands on specific things, you hear from some saying, look, don’t get into the weeds on the policy issues focus about character, focus on values the vice president repeatedly said last night. Is that an effective strategy, not, not actually detailing an agenda, but instead kind of talking more 30,000?”

The problem is that the Democrats constituency is a majority nation wide and close to a majority (if not a majority) in most swing-states. These people know who butters there bread economically. Some of these people may have a few issues that align with conservatives, but most of them are on some form of gravy-train that is maintained by the Dems. If you factor in the possibility that illegals might be able to submit ballots in certain swing-state precincts, then it’s not hard to see why someone as vapid as Harris can easily be the figure head of the “Joy Ticket”.
this is exactly what her campaign manager said weeks ago- he’s stealing it from her....this is also a sure sign the interview last night was a disaster for harris and cnn...
I think an entrepreneur with an editing program ought to splice together the absolute chaos of the past four years with “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” in the background and finish with “Harris Walz 2024” over the screen.
Idiocracy, we are here.
Idiocracy, we are here.
I’d much rather have Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Camacho as President, than Kamala.
I have never heard of this Naftali character, so I don’t know where he is coming from. I assume, since he works for Commie News Network, he’s a lefty. But if he means by “Kamala Harris can be successful running a “vibe” campaign” that there are a whole lot of the American electorate who are as dimwitted as Commie-La, and would vote for her notwithstanding she is an idiot, he probably has a point.
“vibe” Presidents will be very efffective against nuclear armed enemies!
Hope and change - part deux. A full load of fools but no egg frying scene.
No, Mr. Naftali, he did not say that, and you know it, you God-damned liar!
When the Richard Nixon Presidential Library, a private institution, joined the National Archives in 2007 so as to get access to Nixon's presidential papers, Naftali was appointed its first Federal director. Naftali is a hard-core leftist and a compulsive Nixon-hater. He did his best to try to turn the Nixon library into an anti-Nixon museum, but he met with stiff resistance from the Nixon Foundation, which originally ran the library and still plays a major part in doing so.
To a man, the library's volunteer docents, who number about 150, heartily hated Naftali as did most of the Foundation staff. In the offices beneath the galleries, National Archives and Foundation staffers wouldn't even greet one another.
Everyone at the Nixon Library rejoiced when Naftali finally left in 2011. But he still has a bad case of Nixon Derangement Syndrome.
“ focus about character,”
How many of these Kamala fans know how she got her first big political job? Would they even care?
Lowest common denominator.
I don’t think educating that particular type of voter will help because they do not care. More of the Biden free sh*t army and that’s it.
Vibes to Willie Brown got her where she is now, why won’t it work on the public?
Commies hate prayers and well wishes. Pfffft. What good do they do? Hugs and vibes are the replacement.
“Harris can be successful running a “vibe” campaign”
‘Can’ is a mighty big word.
Pigs can fly, you know.
I get vibes to run from commies.
I actually think that people are naturally conservative and become more so as they age and learn from life’s lessons.
We weren't “Slouching Towards Gommorrah’’, we were racing towards it at light speed.
