New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R) again pressed former President Trump to cool down his rhetoric and focus on the election at hand, suggesting Friday that Trump will “pivot a little bit” from personal attacks if polling continues to shift away from him.
Still, the governor warned that not focusing more his messaging could cost the former president the election.
“Just don’t miss the opportunity. I think that’s the message,” Sununu told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins Friday evening in an interview. “And if he does that, it’s the block and tackling of running a campaign. If he does that, he wins.”

Yawn...a nobody from a nowhere state. Whatever.
Quote:
“1. Put out bogus polls.
2. Have Never Trumpers say what Trump is doing “wrong”.”
100% and a pattern that worked on the Romney and McCain candidates. For example, don’t say Obama’s middle name.
What a dick
Sununu who?
Its this RINO uniparty tw@t’s last job.
______________
The RINOs still believe they are relevant, playing armchair quarterback. Slowly, they are fading away into the sunset.
We should be open for the opinion of others and should consider the validity.
At this point the election is for the vote of swing voters and independents. What motivates them and will swing their vote is important.
The question is what message are they looking for and how to keep the base motivated as well.
Tailoring the message is an art and considering input while being sure not to follow bad advice is the key.
His comment is old and stale.
Trump has been hitting the issues and HARD. RFK Jr. hit it on the head yesterday. The DNC mentioned Trump’s name in a derogatory way 140 times in the first night alone. Biden’s name was mentioned twice the entire RNC.
Insults have been redefined now as being any word that criticizes Harris.
Trump: “She is a Marxist and believes in price controls”
Media: “Personal insults like that explain the slide in the polls”
RINO: Accepting absolutely the premise of the media “Yes, he needs to focus on policy and pivot (to just accepting being the loser). “
Sure, yeah, “literally Hitler” should please cool down the personal attacks just a bit.
Sununu likes a smooth talking RINO running for President.
Sununu is a deep state establishment diaper baby. “Tone down the rhetoric” is really, “stop talking about all the ways the deep state has been screwing Americans for decades”.
You seem a bit brainwashed…
Trump is our best weapon so RINOs like Sununu want to defang him.
Quote: “ We should be open for the opinion of others and should consider the validity.”
That Is just if. It isn’t his opinion. It is the one being pushed by the legacy media. A media that wants Trump silenced.
Like the good RINO seeking approval from the media, Sununnu parrot their desired narrative back.
And the Sununus thought that their good buddy David Souter would make a great SCOTUS justice. Their advice ain’t worth jack s—t.
I’m sure Trump will immediately change to make Sununu feel better.
White Sununu’s For Harris
Still, Trump has papered-over his dispute with Kemp; embraced RFK despite past criticisms; even called Obama “a gentleman” and gave Madam Obama a hat tip.
It is a fact many, many democrats and independents are easy to manipulate.
Moving two percent of independents to his column from hers is a four point swing.
There is no shame in Trump putting out a little fly bait.
Republicans have to be Mister Rodgers and Mary Poppins.
Democrats can kill babies and shoot at Republican candidates.
Seems to be a difference in expectations, gov.
The truth is that no one of substance gives a damn about the RINO opinion of Chris Sununu. FU Chris!!!!!!!
NeverTrumpin' Concern Troll & East Coast RINO. Get the hammer.
Just Another bat sh** “Never Trumper” whining about what Trump is doing “wrong”, again!
