Iran is in no position to fight a long-term war with Israel and even asked the US to intervene to prevent a possible large-scale Israeli retaliation to any Iranian attack, according to Mohsen Sazegara, founder of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), in an exclusive interview with The Jerusalem Post.
The IRGC was founded shortly after the 1979 revolution in Iran to protect the Islamic Republic’s religious control over the country, and to act as a counterbalance to the regular Iranian Army, many of whose officers were still loyal to the Shah of Iran, and therefore could not be trusted by the revolutionary regime.

Israel almost got Cairo nuked by the U.S. in 1967 until the Navy figured out it was the Israelis who attack the U.S.S. Liberty. Golda Meir may have threatened Nixon with a nuclear false flag to precipitate nuclear war with the Russians in the 1973 Yom Kippur War. We have been hearing “Iran is only 3 weeks away from having the bomb” for 15 years, but North Korea probably tested the Iranian bomb in 2011. All it takes is 1 nuclear missle getting thru to wreck Israel fotever.
The IRGC can, however, plant this ***hole:
Iran does not have the b@lls or the means to take on Israel in unrestricted/unscripted warfare.
And they know it.
And they also know the Iranian people are tired of being an international pariah.
You can only live with a boot on your neck for so long until the dam breaks.
All thug regimes know this and it’s why they are constantly in a state of paranoia.
