Nearly half the state attorneys general in the U.S. have filed amicus briefs with the Supreme Court to back an emergency stay that will allow the State of Arizona to require U.S. citizenship to vote in federal elections.
The Republican Party of Arizona said on Thursday that it had filed the emergency application pending appeal from the U.S. Court of Appeals Ninth Circuit "in support of HB 2492, our law requiring proof of citizenship to vote in presidential elections."
The Arizona law requires proof of citizenship for ballots even if they are filed by mail.
"The Constitution gives states the power to set voter qualifications, and AZ is leading the charge to ensure ONLY CITIZENS vote in our elections," the Arizona GOP tweeted. "This case has the potential to prevent non-citizen voting once and for all, which should have been the case all along."
"The Court should therefore immediately stay the District Court’s injunction to the extent it interferes with Arizona’s constitutional power to choose how it appoints its presidential electors," Harmeet Dhillon, lead attorney for the law group wrote.
The non-partisan group Honest Elections Project said that states "are well within their rights to require people to show proof of citizenship in order to vote by mail." The group stated on its website that "We believe the Supreme Court should allow Arizona’s law to go into effect and allow states to secure their own elections."

Kudos.
Will they listen and act?
“Quick! Quickly produce 10 million PROOF OF CITIZEN cards STAT!”
Doesn’t matter what the other 24 think. They can follow.
This is about the coming elections. Give it a look, it’s worth it.!
This is a fact. How the communists in these United States made this in question is beyond me.
Texas requires a US birth certificate to denote the person issued is native citizen of the US…Citizenship papers for those who took oath.
Texas requires a Real ID for voting; Driver License or state issued Real ID and is scanned for one to be issued a ballot to vote.
*Former speaker of the house Jim Wright (Do you know who I am?) was turned away from voting years ago due to that demo-rat not having a Real ID.
No standing, citizens have zero right to vote in America, that was decided in Bush v Gore.
They need to do it in Texas also
We always have to show ID here in TN when we vote.
These are states.
Citizens don't have a right to vote for a President, so its irrelevant.
It’s been 3.5 years since the 2020 election steal and very little has been done to ensure election integrity. This is too little, too late. What a sorry state of affairs.

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument
States allowing non-citizens vote are comparable to desperate, elite Democrats and RINO lawmakers wanting to stack the Supreme Court with Constitution-ignoring activist justices so that Democrats can pass more unconstitutional civil rights laws to win votes to stay in power imo.
From related threads ...
Regarding non-citizens voting, the congressional record shows that post-Civil War federal lawmakers had pointed out that states that allow non-citizens to vote would be wrongly nullifying the Constitution's "Uniform Rule of Naturalization Clause."
"Article I, Section 8, Clause 4: To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization [emphasis added], and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;"
" If the States can admit to the elective franchise those who are not citizens, thereby neutralizing the votes of citizens, not only the Federal power of naturalization becomes a nullity, but" * * * * "a minority of citizens by the aid of aliens may control the government of the States, and through the States the government of the Union [emphasis added]." —Appendix to the Congressional Globe, 1868. (See near middle of 1st column.)
" Whatever difference there may be as to what other rights appertain to a citizen, all must agree that he has the right to petition and also to claim the Protection of the Government. These belong to him as a member the body politic, and the possession of them is what separates citizens of the lowest condition from aliens and slaves. To suppose that a State can make an alien a citizen or confer on him the right of voting would involve the absurdity of giving him the direct and immediate control of the action of the General Government, from which he can claim no protection and to which he has no right to present a petition [emphasis added]." —Appendix to the Congressional Globe, 1868. (See bottom half of 1st column.)
In fact, Section 2 of the 14th Amendment (14A), that amendment ratified shortly after the excerpts above appeared in the congressional record, is a penalty for states where ballot box fraud has occurred.
Note the zero tolerance "hair trigger" wording in that section that should be a warning for any state thinking about rigging an election, letting non-citizens vote just one example of doing so.
Excerpted from 14A:
"But when the right to vote at any election"
"is denied to any"
"or in any way abridged,"
"Section 2: Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election [all emphases added] for the choice of electors for President and Vice President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State." [Apportionment of Representatives]
"Section 5: The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article."
With Section 2 in mind, consider that if this were a better world, the feds would be reminding all states before an election that the feds will be darkening the doorway of any state to investigate allegations of possible violations of constitutional voting integrity protections.
Again, the congressional record indicates that renegade states that try to use the illegal votes of illegal immigrants to win more representation in the House are violating Section 2 imo, an appropriate penalty for trying to do so.
Also, Pence and the J6 Congress wrongly ignored due process of Section 2 when they ignored allegations of electoral vote-counting problems in 2020 elections imo.
The constitutionally reality is that, since worthless career federal lawmakers and renegade states have repeatedly proven that they are enemies of the people imo, it is now up to Democratic and Republican Trump supporters to effectively "impeach and remove" ALL (exceptions?) state and federal lawmakers and executives in November.
In other words, it's now up to Democratic and Republican Trump supporters to support hopeful Trump 47 with a new, Constitution-respecting Congress, new state lawmakers too, not only so that he will not be a lame duck president from the first day of his second term, but will support him to quickly finish draining the swamp.
Finally, let's not allow the anti-Trump media try to fade our memories of what we witnessed on July 13.

Thank you for that. But it actually all depends on the price for the judges opinion.
So only American citizens will be able to vote in the American election.
What will they think of next?

In Texas, we need to show Real ID to vote.
In Texas, we need to be citizens (provide US birth cert) to get a Real ID.
Real ID is easy for a guy to say. The problem for women with ‘requires a birth certificate’ is, marriage. For a woman to get a Real ID, she needs to also produce marriage or divorce papers. Married more than once? Papers for each name change. As for me, I have no clue where my divorce papers are, it was so long ago, I never cared. Probably burned it. No clue where my marriage license is, either. All I ever needed was my DL. Born on the right coast, living on the left coast and it could mean disenfranchisement with time constraints to collect documents from different states and counties. I’m pushing 70, did my time in the Reserves, and don’t cotton to ‘papers please’- that’s for commies - Prove I’m NOT a citizen, I say
