An Israeli strike on Monday evening targeted a Hezbollah arms depot in Lebanon’s eastern Bekaa Valley, Reuters reported on Monday, citing two security sources.
A security source told Al Arabiya English multiple weapons depots allegedly belonging to Hezbollah were hit and that airstrikes targeted four different villages.

The Bekka Valley was mostly Christian at one time. Not now.

The Bekaa Valley has always seemed to be a trouble spot in a troubled country.
That area was extensively occupied by Syrian troops during their occupation of Lebanon. Hezbollah has been rumored to be engaged in poppy cultivation there.
it seems like rarely a year goes by when Israel doesn’t conduct an airstrike in that area.

I could see where there might be some doubt about ownership, what with just about every muslim terrorist group and the IRC, and maybe even the Syrians or Turks cruising through there.
