Supporters of former President Donald Trump have reacted furiously to a recent announcement that he backs bringing 'a lot of' migrants into the country.
Trump, 78, made the remarks Thursday at a press conference in Bedminster, New Jersey, outside his Trump National Golf Club.
'Basically, we're going to drill, baby drill, get the energy prices down, almost immediately, we're going to close the border and get the bad ones out,' the Republican began. 'And we're gonna let a lot of people come in.'

I agree. Plus there will be more work restrictions and more obstacles for all illegals especially when it comes to getting a job where many of those other illegals may self deport before we even get to them.

Deporting illegals, Trump's been all over the place. Even look at his RNC platform. He wants mass deportation, says all 15-20 million that came in under Harris and Biden must go, says he wants largest deportation ever which was a mear 1-2 million, and in details he says start deportations. Vance says that 15-20 million may well be 20-25 million by January. He also calls for all to be deported.
Trump talks big on US labor, helping US workers and students, yet a few months ago he said we should allow foreign students to stay and compete with American students once they graduated. Luckily after quick uproar, he backtracked. Needs watching.
He's spoken strongly against H1B fraud and unnecessary workers, yet he kept the program and increased the numbers. Even a few months ago at a business CEO roundtable he told them he'd keep it and increase it further. That needs people speaking up at every opportunity.
In Trump 1.0 he let H1B stay instead of going going home as their visas required, further flooding the US. Heck look on the job boards, look up the Indian recruiters now in the US, almost all were Indian educated. Seriously, we had no Americans that could work as recruiters?!
In Trump 1.0 he said he'd cut off any country that refused to take back deportees. Did he, no. Not once. China and India continue to refuse them back, yet he continued to allow people from those countries. That is a big promise not kept.
We know all about the big beautiful Mexican-paid border wall. Less than 25% built, now for Trump 2.0, just 200 miles to finish? Abbott did fantastic to put inflated balls and cable, even concertina wire on parts of the Mexican border. I'd love t hear him put Abbott on the border issue, unlimited pocketbook to seal it entirely.
He's gone both ways on deporting DACA, I want them and their families deported. This needs pressure to see them deported.
I could go on and I'm supporting Trump, don't mistake me here, but this is an issue where he needs constant pressure. I'm very happy that Vance is VP as I think he'll help keep him focused. Only worry there is Vance's friendship with Indian Ramaswammy, which may give allowance to the tens of millions of Indian workers that have flooded the US.
Bottom line, support Trump but speak up! Otherwise, barring voices heard you might get Trump with policies similar to Harris and Biden.

Yes, leftist organizations will back and bring suit against it, but what I’d like to see is serious DOJ attention brought to bear against those employers, organizations and/or entities that facilitate illegals’ stays here. Enforcement of the law, and punishment for flouting it. Stop the flow of money to these illegals and they’ll go to Canada... :0)
