IMO, the take away from this is the manifestation of her deep, core socialist beliefs. Wow. To publicly float this as a serious policy consideration should scare a lot of people. She’s a true Marxist.

Double ouch:

“When your opponent calls you ‘communist,’ maybe don’t propose price controls?”

Control of ‘wages and prices’ IS the functional definition of Communism, which BTW, has been a social, political dead letter for these 80+ years!!

As of a 25k subsidies for home purchases aren’t every bit as bad. That will also lead to peice control measures.

A bridge too far for Bezo’s. If price control becomes a thing it’s only a matter of time until Amazon is too greedy.

WAPO isn’t against the policy, they’re just against mentioning it during an election.

Tried under Nixon, this was a big failure.
Didn’t work and just causes more inflation and damage to the economy.

As dumb as she is, she’s unaware that price-control is at the root of what communism is about.

She is unaware that, communism have never worked, anywhere it’s been tried, or at anytime it’s been tried.

Communism makes it impossible tor any country to have a successful economy. Communism equals stupidity to the max.

Deep state to Kamala: “remember, we only let Obama be a marxist when it served our interests. This doesn’t serve our interests”

NYT published and article this morning that shows economists are nearly universally opposed.

But they sympathize with the sentiment lol

Did they let her actually go on record today by announcing her “Harris-Maduro” economic plan?

We’ll need to get Russian samovars so we can make coffee while we wait in line for stuff, as the Russians did during communism.

Lemme see here. They increase our dependence on energy from not so friendly countries importing rather than exporting oil & gas, Spend more than they take in on asinine projects and illegals, and give money to our enemies. So, after they have caused inflation, they want a business to charge less for their products that cost more to make? Makes perfect sense to someone, I guess. Someone with their head up their balloon knot.

It is “hard to exaggerate how bad” Vice President Kamala Harris’s proposal to implement government-enforced price control on groceries is, according to a Washington Post essay slamming the plan as both vague and harmful

Really? The Washington Post actually wrote that? I would've thought they'd lap it up, you know, to save Democracy.
