These records belong to individuals in the U.S. and were allegedly stolen from National Public Data (NPD). While the accuracy of the leaked data could not be verified, the hackers reportedly obtained sensitive information such as names, mailing addresses and Social Security numbers. The wife and I have had personal info stolen from various servers... VA, FedGov’s OPM, the SC Dept of Revenue, Ticketmaster, Kohl’s, Equifax and other minor businesses. We receive notifications, plus a year or two of free credit monitoring. We just keep our credit locked down and pay cash for most stuff. I do a credit freeze each time a notification comes thru. Also keep an eye on our credit. Luckily, it’s free to do that.

You’re right. Everyone of the entities you mentioned are “after us”, and they deserve their comeuppance. I just don’t know where to start exacting revenge.
