Nearly every American's Social Security number may have been leaked, with a hacking group claiming they stole nearly 3 billion records of personal information. A massive database containing over 2.7 billion records has reportedly ended up on a criminal forum. These records belong to individuals in the U.S. and were allegedly stolen from National Public Data (NPD). While the accuracy of the leaked data could not be verified, the hackers reportedly obtained sensitive information such as names, mailing addresses and Social Security numbers. The scale of this breach is so vast that if you live in the U.S., it's likely that some of your data is included."

“Sure, this data breech is inconvenient, but did you know that parents are showing up at school board meetings to complain? Those are the REAL terrorists!” ~ our government
not sure which is worse, the govt having it or the dark web.
This would be my second or third rodeo with my data being leaked; one of those times was the Office of Personnel Management breach back in 2015.
Our National Security folks, who are likely the “protectors” of such data are probably too worried about LGBTQ issues and making sure “equity” is paramount to those working for this agency.
Not to worry, Cackles is confident the cloud her info is on is still floating safely above her.
not sure which is worse, the govt having it or the dark web.

how much of this data will be used to create mail in voters?
Probably a company called Nexus.

Those who have not reached SS age or have not started SS need to keep close tabs on their information.
Anyone remember when the SSN was printed on our checks? Remember when it wasn’t the key to our entire financial existence?
Next up: the government gives everybody a free year of credit monitoring. That’ll make things right.
Just changed my critical financial passwords. Again. Added two factor authentication although it is a nuisance. Considering getting an encrypted password manager.
“Thank you for calling the Social Security Administration. Your call is very important to us. Your estimated wait time is 834 days and one minute. Please do not hang up as you will lose your place in line.”

JUST YESTERDAY I predicted Chomo Joe and his clown car of tyrants would erase all records of all student debt and then, SUDDENLY wipe the servers, like with a cloth, and now that there is no record of who owes what. TUH DUH!!! Student debt magically disappears. Like the end of “Fight Club.”
I have a feeling this is related to Chomo Joe’s “debt forgiveness” plan.
“Only for identification purposes...”
If the friggin’ politicians weren’t spending all of their time having fundraisers to get their asses reelected, they could have done something to prevent this. This is a terrorist attack on America. We know the FIBBIES spend all their time tracking down Americans who have a patriotic streak but what the hell are those idiots at the CIA doing? Or do we still have a CIA.
Papers please!
Well, the hackers can have my 850 FICO score too.
