The State Department warned that there would be a “swift and severe” response if Iran were to send ballistic missiles to Russia, following reports that the country plans to send hundreds of the satellite-guided weapons to Moscow soon.
Reuters reported Friday that Iran is planning to ship ballistic missiles to Russia “soon,” citing multiple European intelligence sources, adding that Iran is already training Russian forces on how to use the Fath-360 close-range ballistic missile system.
Responding to that report, State Department spokesperson Vedant Patel said Monday that the U.S. would quickly respond to any such transfer.
“We’ve been warning of the deepening security partnership between Russia and Iran since the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, this partnership threatens European security and illustrates how Iran’s destabilizing influence reaches beyond the Middle East and around the world,” he said.

Russia has become so technologically backwards that muslim made technology is superior to home grown?
Wow!
Where are the protests against Ukraine attacking Russian civilians?
...crickets.....
Who cares if this happens?
Russia is weird—in some areas they are technologically advanced—in others they are way behind.
The western mind likes everything simple—but Russia is very complex.
And if the Iranians send those missiles anyway, we will bomb them . . . with pallets of cold, hard cash!!! In the billions!!
They will do absolutely nothing and the Iranians know it. The Biden Junta has turned the US into a paper tiger and the whole world is aware of it.
Wait... what? Doesn’t Russia supply Iran?
Vladamir...The Big Guy is planning to send a strongly worded letter!
My question exactly. During the Cold War, the Soviet Union was the exporter.
What a ridiculous thing to say. Russian technology is kicking NATO’s “wonder weapons” asses all over Ukraine. Don’t hurt yourself flopping around in the bottom of the boat as gubmint media tries to get their hook, line and sinker out of you.
All Biden letters end with this boilerplate:
“I want my 10%,”
Lines are being drawn.

It’s range is about that of the old US Lance rocket/missile.
I wonder if this is misinformation or disinformation or a fabrication or something.
Why would Russia need armaments from Iran?
The situation is escalating. Will it take down the leader of Ukraine or Russia? What repercussions will we see? Is this the breaking point of the conflict?
I think the Harris Administration is confused.
They should be more worried about Israel than Ukraine at this point. As least they could salvage Israel at this point, but no they are our own worst enemies.
I think it is the threat of hypersonic missiles from Russia the poses the threat to US assets in the Middle East - they are talking as if Iran is going to somehow send sufficient missiles for use in Ukraine when they are going to attack Israel???
Tony Blinken and Jake Sullivan have run their own show for 3.5 years of the Biden Coup Administation; these self-styled Chi-town thugs have lost Ukraine war when the US and NATO had every advantage.
Now the Harris Admin is about to lose the war for Israel and destroy the good standing of the USN all in a pointless war with Iran. When families like John Kerry’s marry into the Iranian hierarchy, or the McConnel’s marry into the Chinese... well you know the traitors running our Country are stealing from the cookie jar - this band cares more about themselves than the American people or the Jewish people. The embrace of Islam by the King of England long ago, and now with Harris’s husband wearing the pants in at the White House, diaper Joe’s razor thin support of Israel is coming to an end.
Remember in May, June and July it was China’s fault. How’d that turn out for the Administration’s brainiacs Sullivan and Blinken?
Thought someone had a point I should consider, but then I saw it was you.
More like Russia’s production capacity isn’t where they need it to be considering their prosecution of this war, so they’ll take whatever they can get from their allies.
Don’t be surprised if you start seeing Chinese missiles being shipped to Russia.
