Derek Chauvin, fired Minneapolis officer who killed George Floyd, moved to transfer prison facility

Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer serving a long sentence for the murder of George Floyd more than four years ago, has been moved without public explanation from a federal prison in Arizona to a transfer facility in Oklahoma, according to government records.

The U.S. Bureau of Prisons says Chauvin is now housed at its administrative security federal transfer center in Oklahoma City. The bureau’s handbook for the facility describes the Oklahoma City prison as a lockup for inmates that includes “in-transit holdovers and parole violators.”

Bureau spokeswoman Randilee Giamusso said Monday that Chauvin’s transfer occurred Friday, but she declined to disclose the reason for the 48-year-old inmate’s move or whether sending him to another federal facility is being planned.

“For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not discuss the conditions of confinement for any individual, including reasons for transfer,” Giamusso said.

However, Chauvin’s mother said in a social media post over the weekend that his time in Oklahoma City will be short-lived.

there was an appeal awhile ago- but have not heard if it was accepted or not- I think if it was- it would make national news with the msm spouting off crap about him nonstop to keep him in prison- My hope is that Pres Trump wins, and pardons Chauvin

In 1978, Minnesota was much like South Dakota. I lived in SD, and Minneapolis of course being a shithole, because of population. It was on the scale of 1978 Seattle or Portland.

WHAT HAPPENED? was it the Islamic invasion?

FLOYD OBTAINED THE FENTANYL

FLOYD SWALLOWED THE FENTANYL

FLOYD KILLED HIMSELF

There’s certainly no reason to think moving him is nefarious in any way. That’s just not possible. (eyes rolling)

People in MN will never, never accept the truth that Chauvin is not guilty.

Another example of how well our court system functions.

The Bureau of Prisons is under the Department of Justice in the Executive branch, not in the Judicial branch.

As a society we no longer deserve good law enforcement, we have forfeited the right to law and order, and we will soon experience the absence of the rule of law. As a citizen, I feel guilty about the unjust treatment of Officer Chauvin, I pity any decent law enforcement officers too desperate or too foolish to change their professions, and I long for the day when the leftists who are destroying our civilization are themselves victims of the crime they have enabled.

Yes. Chauvin is an innocent man. He had no hope of a fair trial in Mn. He was a sacrificial lamb. I hope Trump pardons him.

Chauvin is actually not guilty of Murder3, and his non-guilt of Murder3 is more than sufficient reason to overturn his Murder2.

Derek Chauvin's lawyer asks a Minnesota appeals court to toss his murder convictions

"Your Honor, I now call the owner of the El Nuevo Rodeo club in Minneapolis, Maya Santamaria, to the stand."
  • "Maam, did you not tell KSTP that Mr. Chauvin and Big Gorge "both worked security for her club up to the end of last year"?
"Chauvin was our off-duty police for almost the entirety of the 17 years that we were open," Santamaria said. "They were working together at the same time, it's just that Chauvin worked outside and the security guards were inside...the two overlapped working security on popular music nights within the last year..."

"My friend sent me (the video) and said this is your guy who used to work for you and I said, 'It's not him.' And then they did the closeup and that's when I said, 'Oh my God, that's him,'" Santamaria said. "I didn't recognize George as one of our security guys because he looked really different lying there like that."

  • "Maam, did you hire Big Gorge after he drifted up north from serving five years in prison for a home invasion conviction?"

" Santamaria wondered if Monday's incident could have turned out differently if Chauvin recognized Floyd from their days working at her club.

‘What if he could’ve just said “Hey, man, you and I worked together at Maya’s place. Remember me?”’ she said."

  • "Your Honor. Under Minnesota Statute 609.195, Murder3 requires "depraved heart", yet these 2 men knew each other. No previous Minnesota Murder3 conviction has ever stood on appeal, when there was any evidence that the assailant knew the victim. Therefore, I ask this Court to immediately vacate the original verdict on the Murder3 count and order a retrial; or in the alternate, I ask this Court to fully endorse a writ of certiorari to the United States Supreme Court on the same grounds."

I watched a documentary on his persecution.

“Minneapolis is Burning”

It was a travesty. The politicians had to get someone and he was it.

The Bureau of Prisons is under the Department of Justice in the Executive branch, not in the Judicial branch.

Yes it is, but I was referring to the fact he was in there because of a dysfunctional/incompetent/corrupt Judicial system.

I hope you don't take it personally that I needle you on occasion about the Judicial system. :)
