A lawyer for former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin made his case on Wednesday for why his client's three convictions in the murder of George Floyd should be overturned, which the state vehemently rebutted.

It won’t happen. Their would be massive riots and looting if the conviction was overturned.
Floyd died of a drug overdose
Never happen even though it should. This is purely political. Our justice system has been hijacked
He was convicted because of the optics. Knee on the handcuffed Floyd, hands free, sunglasses up, casually talking. The whole thing looked bad and then Floyd died.
He at least should have a chance at appeal in a neutral court in another state.
He can ask for an appeal and he can have an appeal. But should he get away with his crimes? No.
thats what the appeal determine
That’s what my reading of the autopsy said.
“He at least should have a chance at appeal in a neutral court in another state.”
Which other state would have jurisdiction to review Minnesota cases?
These cowardly “gentle” and “kind” understanding liberals have the same exact problem with Moslems on the world stage.
We don’t want to make them mad, you see.
IOW, they likewise know what will happen. Unlike conservatives, they won’t acknowledge it and if the mayhem starts, they do nothing.
I give lawyers points for having the guts to bring it up.
What crimes? Floyd died of suicide. Chauvin had nothing to do with Floyd dying. Floyd killed himself with Fentanyl.
He at least should have a chance at appeal in a neutral court in another state.
It’s like asking a court of foxes to hear the plea of one of the chickens.
It was not murder. muhammad noor killing Justine Damond was murder. noor is not in prison. Chauvin got 21 years in prison.
Our new masters are calling the shots in Minnesota.
His death by fentanyl may have been inevitable. But the fact is that the man was safely secured in the back of a police car and for some idiot reason the four geniuses pulled him out to tune him up.
Instead of just transporting him to jail or calling EMTs.
They own this because they took ownership of it.
Had the man simply died in the back of the car we would not know his name.
He should have been forced into the back of a patrol car.
True, and he clearly did not receive a fair trial.
Saint Floyd died from a fentanyl overdose.
