BOMBSHELL: Tim Walz's superior officer in the National Guard tells CNN that Walz knew he was going to be deployed to Iraq six months before he decided to retire. He also says Walz promised he would deploy and went back on his word and abandoned his men.

By proxy, Walz isn’t the Veep nominee either.
Wouldn’t it be something else, if Harris has to ditch Walz before the convention?
AND…if enough delegates think Harris makes Biden look competent, what if it’s bedlam at the convention?
Well, he might survive with the current Orwellian media that chucks everything down the memory hole. But with the internet, that’s a tall task.
I’m guessing he’ll have to go after enduring all the negative ads that are sure to flood the airwaves. We shall see. I don’t make any predictions anymore in this insane environment.

Walz is a member of a church where they worship Gaia the Earth Godess. His church is not part of Judeo-Christian culture.
Hopefully, you’re not old enough to remember when Eagleton was forced out. When the news about his treatments starting coming out the media was like sharks with blood in the water.

Everyone KNEW the National Guard and reservists would go before anyone’s drafted-illegal. 911 was in 2001. 2005-the scary cat was still in?
Hence his being awarded the Army Commendation Medal as a retirement award - unheard of, and even scandalous, for a senior NCO to receive such a low award after 24 years. Most senior NCOs normally get a Meritorious Service Medal or even a Legion of Merit if they are particularly squared away. It’s clear Walz’s chain of command considered him a turd and wanted him to know it.
CNN gal was really regretting the interview and trying to block Walz’s former superior officer from telling his story. But he managed to get it out in spite of her.
Vindman and Kinzinger can just suck it. Lying sacks.

His troops may have had a blessing with him slithering away ... not much of a leader .... would have probably abandoned them in critical combat operations and then blamed someone else.

In my opinion, he had house payments and getting a nice stipend at the end of the month for drinking beer and and shooting the cans once a month was pretty attractive on a public school teacher salary.
