Kamala Harris has taken a five-point lead in a head-to-head matchup with Donald Trump, according to a new nationwide poll.
The Marquette University survey also found that when third party candidates including Robert F. Kennedy and Cornel West are added, Harris has an eight-point advantage.
The shocking results show Harris continues to see a bump in popularity after President Joe Biden announced he wasn't running.

I took polling jobs while in college to make extra money. I mainly polled cute young women in hopes of scoring a date. Unless the polling company recalibrates the polling data to account for my biased sampling, the poll is worthless. I can tell you with 100% certainty, as seen by my own eyeballs, that young men continue to poll young women outside my voting precinct.
According to polls that take polls about the accuracy of polling, polls are indeed worthless.

Hillary was leading comfortably in polling for the entire race, up until the very end when the media turned on her over her emails allowing Trump to surge. And he still barely beat her.
Trump had been tied, --if not leading comfortably almost this entire race until Biden dropped out and Kamala entered. The media is not going to turn on Kamala like they did on Hillary.
The race is far from over but after running a near perfect campaign, focused and disciplined, Trump has lost his step these last couple of weeks. He needs his mojo back.
So, it’s already dated now. Not to mention the MoE is close to 5...

polls are meant to drive the election process... and to use peer pressure perceptions to drive changes in public opinion. they absolutely do NOT reflect likely outcomes...

doubtless, we need to do our part, as our obedience to God, is rebellion against tyranny. but unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain to build it and unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen wakes but in vain.

I think someone got the plus/minus sign backwards. In no universe would adding RFK Jr. and Cornell west to the mix actually INCREASE Harris’s chances. They’re seriously trying to tell us that having Cornell West as an option will give Kamala a bigger lead? That would imply that he would pull votes away from Trump, which is beyond absurd.

That is not party weight. That was the result of the poll. Rasmussen weights about 2% more democrats 35-33. Others party weight by 5-12 percent. Nuts. I was being sarcastic.

Kamala is just the new “shiny thing” that is already losing her luster. This is like trying to call a boxing match while we’re still in the “bravado on a live mike” phase. This election cycle is going to be a lot of fun. And frankly, I’m mentally prepared for either one winning. It will just be a different “show” if she wins.
But that’s easy for me becuase I’m in my 70’s, pay zero income taxes, own my own place and am debt free and my cost of living is less than half my SS checks. If I was a young man with a family, I’d probably have a heart attack. and I don’t care which side wins. Trump would be better, but the whole world is headed for hard times. It’s incredibly obvious to anyone paying attention.
Well, unless Trump has 20 or 30 trillion dollars in his back pocket he’s willing to give the country...
