Sixth highest State Income Tax with CA and Massachusetts

State Schools are at almost 70% of students not proficient in Reading.

68% are not proficient in Math.

So, why the crazy high taxes?

Their teaching, congress, or governor pensions are not in Social security. His dipping from that should be minimal.

"Because teachers in Minnesota participate in Social Security, they are required to contribute to two defined benefit-style plans."

I believe you're correct on the US Congress. I'll have to check on the Minnesota governorship.

I'll bet somewhere around 2.5k per month for each of them in Social Security.

30 grand each in SS, annually.

We'll know a lot after they retire - because SS is taxable in Minnesota.

I had a couple of Lefty acquaintances who bailed from Minnesota to a state with no SS tax on retirement earnings IMMEDIATELY after they retired.

Hypocrites, like most Democrats.

I see for Terrible Timmy and his wife:

A quintuple dip, all on the US taxpayer.

This isn't even including their Social Security, which will be quite a tidy sum for the two of them.

1) How much does he get from his national guard retirement?
2) Does he have any relatives who do his grifting for him?

“In 1999, Walz agreed to be the faculty advisor of the FIRST GAY-STRAIGHT ALLIANCE at Mankato West High School.” (Twenty-five years ago, 1999, now that’s progressive or were there benefits)

Interesting fact, tie this together with teaching, HS football boys, military and who knows………..

That is a story full of both sadness and adventure. Some folks prefer living a High Wire kind of life, and tend to live in the present only. Little thought given to the future.

He’s probably a SPY for China on top of everything else.
