What is a shame is that the dude seemed to be really a nice person-my work compadre and I were both clueless as to what he was into until one time he tried to talk us into letting him finance/build a couple of mansions in our names and then split the sale profit-a fraud for sure-neither my friend and his wife or MrT5 and I could have qualified for a multi-million house/estate loan. Because he was a customer, we didn’t want to offend-so pretended we would ask our spouses, then told him sorry, our spouses would not go there and he backed off and never asked again, and was back to the same nice guy. We sometimes talk about how we dodged a bullet then-we would have probably gone to prison for bank fraud if we’d have fallen for that charming scam...
