An Israeli delegation has been banned from a youth ultimate frisbee competition in Belgium after they were targeted by anti-Israel protests and vandalism.
According to the ultimate frisbee site Ultiworld, the Israeli delegation to the U-17 European Youth Ultimate Championships in Ghent, Belgium, consisted of two teams, competing in the open and mixed divisions. From the get-go, the organizers of the competition were met with heavy pressure due to the Israeli participation.
Shortly before the competition was set to begin, the Ghent city council and police decided to ban the Israeli teams from playing in the city due to a fear of protests stating that the team's safety "could not be guaranteed.” As a result, Israel's games were moved to the nearby town of De Pinte.
The night before the competition, anti-Israel activists vandalized the building in De Pinte, where the Israeli team was supposed to play, with red paint. According to Belgian newspaper De Standaard, they left behind the slogan 'boycott Israel now' and claimed responsibility for the action in an anonymous statement. "The Palestinian community of Ghent and pro-Palestinian people are furious," it said.

Pretty much confirms that the Belgian authorities are in league with the anarchists.
Anarchotyranny: It’s not just a good idea, it’s the law.
Punishing the innocent, as always.
Miserable Fat Belgian Bastards.
First they were welcomed guests, then they were disinvited for being targeted, the heckler’s veto. No wonder the Belgians are famous for their waffles. They’re not anarchists, they’re cowards.
They are most infamous for what King Leopold did in The Congo.
Belgium is the center of the EU Caliphate
This sort of thing happens a lot and is a good indication of the political leaning of “the authorities”.
Example: In Britain, in the 1930s, the British Union of Fascists actually had a fair amount of political power. They liked Hitler [shrug]. So British communists would go to the fascist rallies and start fights. Lots of violence. All started by the communists. So the British government stepped in and imposed extreme restrictions on the British Union of Fascists.
Hey, I’m not defending the fascists at all. But the government saw violence committed by communists, the government supported that violence, and the government punished the people being victimized by the violence.
Here, we have Jews being victims of vandalism, and the Belgian government jumps into action and punishes the Jews.
It’s not hard to see who really runs the world.
It reminds me of the scene in the movie Patton where the town council at Bergen-Belsen comes to the conquering Patton to say the locals might be disturbed by a Jewish religious service. Patton responds with fury and instructs that they would go right ahead with their service. If only the Ghent city council had one sou of the decency.
So, the Belgians waffled.
I hope they have enough whipped cream and strawberries to go with that waffling.
They did a good job on Christians, but it took them centuries. I don't think they'll have as much luck with the Friends of Mohammad.
I checked. This is not from Babylon Bee.
Now just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. “Innocent”? Those...people were Israelis, and they were even proud of it! That makes them guilty of anything that anyone accuses them of, because...because they are! They even tricked us into letting their airplane land in Belgium! And...and letting them disembark and throw their Frizbee around! Chutzpah! Someone could have been hurt.
They should be informed. This’d be a great parody.
Ah, the brilliant Belgiums, ban the victims and not catch and punish the perps. Yup, that’s brilliant — and weak.
Great short story by Peretz, originally in Yiddish, called The Shabbos Goy. Very apropos.
The Left has always had “The Heckler’s Veto”.
