Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin revoked the plea agreements for the 9/11 terrorist attack mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and two others and relieved the official in charge of military courts in Guantanamo Bay.
The move puts the possibility of the death penalty back on the table for the trio. It was announced in a memorandum on Friday.
On Wednesday, the Department of Defense reached a plea deal with Mohammed, Ali Abdul Aziz Ali, and Ramzi Bin al Shibh, three men accused of planning the attacks. The details of the deal weren't made public.

Colonel George C. Kraehe, a former Justice Department Attorney, has been Acting Chief Prosecutor Named for Military Commissions at the Defense Department since October 2021. He has to be the one who put the deal together.

All we know is she was relieved of her position. She may get reassigned somewhere else.
Austin became Secretary of Defense on 22 January 2021. Under his watch, on 26 August 2021, the US suffered it’s most embarrassing defeat ever in Kabul, Afghanistan and 13 soldiers got killed totally unnecessarily not to mention the 89 billion dollars worth of eqipment given over to our enemies.
When the Army brought the dead marines/soldiers home, Biden was photographed checking the time on his watch as they were unloaded.
I don’t believe Lloyd’s retraction of Khalids plea agreement was born out of Lloyd Austin’s patriotism. Instead, I believe it is another cynical ploy almost identical in intent to the forgiveness of billions of student loan debt. 4 months out from an election they are going to lose, the cynical marxist bastards just want to buy a few redneck votes. They won’t get mine.
