A whistleblower alleged that Secret Service acting Director Ronald Rowe personally cut security resources and “retaliated” against agents with security concerns leading up to former President Donald Trump’s rally on July 13, according to a letter released Thursday.
The whistleblower alleged that Rowe personally implemented “significant cuts” to the Counter Surveillance Division (CSD), which does advanced threat assessments for venues, and alleged that agents who expressed security concerns were “retaliated against,” according to Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley’s letter to Rowe. As a result, the CSD failed to perform its “typical evaluation” of the rally venue in Butler County, Pennsylvania, and “was not present on the day” of the attempted assassination.

“The whistleblower claims that if personnel from CSD had been present at the rally, the gunman would have been handcuffed in the parking lot after being spotted with a rangefinder,” the letter states.

“Secret Service personnel expressed alarm that individuals were admitted to the event without vetting,” the letter says. “The whistleblower alleges that those who raised such concerns were retaliated against.”
At the July 13 rally, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks was able to fire shots at the former president from a rooftop just 130 yards away from the stage. Crooks had reportedly been spotted by witnesses, flagged by Secret Service and even was identified by a local counter sniper over an hour and a half before Trump took the stage.
A whistleblower has alleged to my office that the Secret Service Counter Surveillance Division (CSD), the division that performs threat assessment of event sites before the event occurs, did not perform its typical evaluation of the Butler site and was not present on the day,” the letter states. “This is significant because CSD’s duties include evaluating potential security threats outside the security perimeter and mitigating those threats during the event.”
As a result of these security lapses, Crooks was able to take aim at and injure the former president, kill volunteer firefighter Corey Comperatore and injure attendees James Copenhaver and David Dutch, who are both in stable condition

Rowe testified on Tuesday before a joint hearing held by the Senate Judiciary and Homeland Security Committee after U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned on July 23 following her own evasive congressional testimony. Rowe’s testimony was similarly evasive as he left many lawmakers’ questions unanswered.
“You acknowledged in your Senate testimony that the American Glass Research complex should have been included in the security perimeter for the Butler event,” the letter says. “The whistleblower alleges that because CSD was not present in Butler, this manifest shortcoming was never properly flagged or mitigated.”
Despite this, Trump has vowed to continue holding outdoor rallies and said that the Secret Service will “substantially step up” their security detail going forward, according to a post on Truth Social from Saturday.

I think it was. The SS lax security is one half. They withheld the Counter Sniper Assessment, his regular team was off and everyone else were basic field agents who normally do counterfeit or whatever. None had worked together before, etc. The ensured that local cops could not communicate with the SS. After he was discovered and will known, they marched Trump out and stood him right on the X.
That was all one half of the equation.
The other half was FBI or other spooks, carefully cultivating a “draw mohammed” guy, or a “let’s kidnap Whitmer” guy, or a car bomber with the dummy bomb they provided him. They are experts at creating these out of lonely weak minded, SSRI medicated males with no love or friends. This kid was telling people a week or two before in his gaming group that July 13 was his big debut or something.
If some cop or security guard intervenes, the handlers “turn cop” and get a good PR arrest. If nobody finds him, the plan is completed and Trump is dead, security kills the dupe. The Undercover FBI handlers evaporate.. and a stolen election keeps anyone from ever investigating.
This is not as far fetched as it seems. Only the Cheatle level, coordinating with a Peter Styrok type and a few Trump hating agents are all you need. Trump hating agents like the ones who since 2016 spied on him, wiretapped him, Framed Flynn and several Trump lawyers, planted evidence, raided Mar a Lago, played with Melania’s panties, locked up a thousand J6ers, had him charged with 100 trumped up felonies in four states, stole half a billon from him, framed him as a Russian spy, framed him with the fake pissgate tape. etc etc.
There were prime movers in DC who wanted him dead. High levels of SS wanted him dead. Many FBI would be pleased to see him dead. Many CIA want him dead.
We might as well face this. It’s more than incompetence. They engineered this.
I listened to the entire audio/video of this witness and his subsequent interview by LE. He sounded very credible and answered questions with no hesitation. Seemed very forthright and upfront. He was a bit of a character but not stupid. He provided them all kinds of information even about some male white guy about 60 years old driving up demanding all the people leave, he then drove away, came back making the same demands claiming he owned the property, then took off and was not seen again. Other people witnessed this as well.

The whistleblowers are saying that when agents complained about the security lapses, they were retaliated against, not that the whistleblowers were retaliated against.
Good post. Who knows what they told him but he sure got taken. Maybe they told him he’d be part of a drill that had to be as realistic as possible.

This whole thing looks very suspicious. Don’t mean to be negative, but the longer they stonewall, the less likely we will get the truth.
What are FReepers thoughts as to whether this was a planned and intentional assassination (attempt). If so, what people and what agencies were in on it? Does it go clear to Biden? Or is the root based in some lower-level TDS federal employees? Was Crooks “radicalized” by some government people? Or was he just lucky that it was convenient for him to have perfect access?

If they keep acting like the SS is just incompetent, they’ll never get to what really happened .

Even if the POTUS has private security, another judge like Merchan could put him in jail on bogus charges and then the deep state (or other group) could set up an Epstein assassination.
