SS not revealing the info to give him/her due process in whatever investigation is taking place

It seems all one would have to do is reenact the scene by putting a person to represent Crooks in the exact spot on the roof he fired from, and put 2-3 people on the rooftop the snipers were posted, to see whether their claim that they couldn’t see him is factual. If they were on the same level as Crooks, and could look across to where he was, and he was in their sight of vision, then they are lying through their teeth.
