After being asked to leave Stab's Tuesday for a confusing dress code violation at Stab's Prime Steak and Seafood and posting about it on Facebook, Y'Mine McClanahan's post has taken a new turn.
Late Wednesday evening, she posted a statement on her personal Facebook page from the NAACP Baton Rouge Branch addressing her experience at Stab's Prime Steak and Seafood where she was asked to leave because of her attire which, many argue, was less "revealing" than the restaurant's wait staff's attire. McClanahan is the vice president of the Baton Rouge Branch of NAACP.

Enough of this public nudity, which gets worse by the year.
Let other restaurants do the same.
She doesn’t need to be on a soapbox. She needs to be on a diet.
Well, she is more dressed than most 3X black females, but I agree with one comment, “don’t like it, don’t go”. I remember a mexican place in Texas kicked a family out because the kids dumped most of there food on the floor. I have no problem with either of these actions
Why aren’t they using that racist term to describe her as a “Karen”?
She has a point
Blacks boycott the restaurant and suddenly its white business picks up along with the profits and tips. Just guessing.
I would agree. Fat and ugly don’t fit their rules.
KICKED OUT?
I would have banned them for life.
Not any more. I’ve been in Commanders Palace without a tie and that was 20 years ago.
I looked up their dress code online
Business Attire
Jackets are preferred for gentlemen
Collared shirts and closed-toed shoes required for gentlemen
No shorts, flip-flops, t-shirts, sweat shirts or sweat pants
Jeans are discouraged; ripped jeans are not allowed
I got a visual of her actually pulling that all off.
No breakfast for me today.
I’m sorry, but being horrendously ugly should not be a disqualifier.
Indeed. Either one would kill my appetite.
That top could easily have been lower before the photos were taken, revealing a whole lot.
The waitress is showing leg and a peek of midriff, but very modestly covered up top.
What happened to dignity and self-respect?
I suspect a shakedown ploy.
Agreed, and from the pictures, the dress looks quite see though that the pictures don’t show, and I wouldn’t want to be looking at her obvious areolas and nipples through it while trying to eat. It wouldn’t be suitable for a white woman either.

When I lived in Miami, I had some guests over for dinner and they brought some friends along who I did not know. In the middle of a pre-dinner conversation, one of them asked: “Oh, you are from Louisiana originally. I hear that things are horrible there.” I gave the lady a puzzled look and asked what she meant. She said: “You know, with all the racism.” I told her that I did not know what she was talking about. Then I asked her how things where she came from (Cuba) and she STFU! for the remainder of the evening.
I think it is a pretty outfit for summer.
Unless something is showing (see through top) I don’t see anything wrong with this outfit.
in the Texas one, they were banned. It was funny because the restaurant stood it’s ground under criticism. Basically said if you didn’t like, then don’t eat their.
Pizza place close to me has some rather questionable stuff patrons post on the walls. Naturally some were offended. Owner says free speech and if you didn’t like it, don’t come to his place. I would go to it just to see for myself, but the neighborhood is very shady.
