Isn’t Iran an Islamic Caliphate?
Why would Iran be taking the Olympic Committee to task for
dishonoring the God of Christians?
I don’t think they believe in the Holy Trinity. They do not
consider Jesus to be the Son of God, or a party to the Holy
Trinity. Why would they care about the Last Supper
depiction?
This report doesn’t make sense to me.

Muslims believe Jesus to be a prophet but not on the same level of Muhammad. They don’t like to see one of their prophets mocked like that. I applaud them for this
Mussies say Jesus is a Prophet.
Although they do not recognize Jesus Christ as the Son of God, the consider Him as a Holy Prophet.
Your concerns are also mine.
I wonder if the report is genuinely from Iran or some more BS people made up.
Just about anything a person hears, reads or sees regarding news is subject to being propaganda.
Jesus is still respected in the Islamic faith, he is still considered the Messiah in the Quran.
I don't know of any Churches in Saudi Arabia or Temples.
They do consider Jesus a prophet just as the Jews do. Most religions do cross over each other.
Jesus is a prophet in the Koran. Who knows? The media has conditioned us to hate Iran.
I do not believe they consider themselves a caliphate.
Khomeini actually went and wished the hostages a Merry Christmas and emphasized the Islamic belief that Jesus was the greatest prophet until Mohammed and His message was co opted by Paul.
