Petty. Yes. But in immediately and publicly designating Harris as his successor, Biden was serving his legacy by eliminating at least one avenue of attack, that being perceived infidelity to his closest and highest-ranked partner in the executive branch administration.
I read that after Joe and Jill got together that the ex-husband suddenly was being harassed by the IRS for menial things that aren’t usually a problem.
Biden had him arrested and jailed for being 6 days late on $8k owed to the IRS.
If she was loyal she would have turned it down after what they did to Joe. Ran for Governor of California.

Michele has never run for public office. I have never understood the buzz around Michele who just happened to be the wife of a nobody that somehow became President because of his skin color.
