We live in an age that’s amazing for capitalism because anyone with the talent and equipment to make and sell clothing, toys, and other items can do so pretty easily on the web. And Amazon plays home to so many of these items.
The problem is that some items on Amazon shouldn’t be there. Specifically, I’m talking about an array of shirts that call for the death of Donald Trump. I found out about one this week that reads, “THE ONLY GOOD TRUMP IS A DEAD ONE.”
As you can see from the listing, you could order it in a variety of fashion colors or fabrics. It would have been the perfect item for the Trump-hater on your list. There are also some more general anti-Trump shirts on the site, some of which attempt to be funny.
I searched for “Dead Biden T-shirt” and “Dead Kamala T-shirt,” and while I found a few anti-Biden and anti-Harris shirts, I didn’t see any calling for the death of the president or vice president. There are also some genuinely annoying pro-Kamala shirts on the site, none of which were funny.

it lacks intent but can be the first part of a conspiracy charge
Michael Seifert, CEO of PublicSquare, was on Charlie Kirk today. He said the shirt was up for only about 4 hours before it was removed. He said Amazon took a lot of flak for it. I didn’t know it is possible to contact Amazon so quickly about things like this.
“Amazon cannot vet every item uploaded for sale,”
The CEO of Public Square said Amazon absolutely CAN vet every item via their algorithms. Amazon was OK with it and let it through, and figured they could remove it later if they had to. (And they had to.)
He said if Public Square’s algorithms could catch this — and they could, then Amazon’s certainly could.
FR wasn’t selling T-shirts with such a message that I know of.
Can I see a link to some of those hundreds?
So what message is the shirt peddling?
“Andersen’s site shows the parts to replace it for 27 bucks. Amazon had at least two options for 10 bucks.”
Well at least with the factory part there’s a 50-50 chance that it’s made here in the U.S. from U.S. sourced materials.
The two $10 options are made in China from inferior materials that costs them the equivalent of a nickel to make, while the rest of the money goes to building up their military or creating bioweapons in Wuhan.
That’s why I suggest “accidents”.
Replace Trump with Obama and watch the sparks fly!
One of the ten dollar options I went for said it was reinforced to be stronger than the OEM part. Only time will tell if it is strong enough tho.
I’m all for moving factories back to the USA but I’m not going to pay $27 over $10. That’s just greed from Andersen imo.
stating their opinion and is not specific enough for legal action, what or which trump, could be the idiot niece
<>It’s a stretch to say this t-shirt is calling for his death.<>
I refuse to believe you are that stupid.
Keep refusing.
IOW, you are that stupid. LOL.
“Bullet

It’s just a minor incursion.
Did you flunk English?
Let me help you...
You meant to say...
I believe you are that stupid.
Instead you said I refuse to believe you are that stupid.
In other words - You don't believe - you refuse to believe I'm stupid.
I hope this helps. If this matter is still unclear to you - go get a 12 year old who understands English and have them explain it to you.
“That’s just greed from Andersen imo.”
How is it greed though?
Anderson employees are not slaves who get paid pennies per day like their Chinese counterparts.
Most Chinese workers make between $1.80 to $4.73 per day.
At Anderson, the starting pay for an assembler is $16 per hour, and tops out at $37 depending on manufacturing position (Welder, CNC Machinist, etc)
I only had the angular bracket crack. But you had to buy it in a kit that came with another bracket and a few screws for $26.34. The site says “ready to ship in 4 days.” So that means I will have a door with only one hinge for maybe a week.

And the part I chose was this one that arrived at my door the very next day. I fixed the storm door immediately. Plus the reviews said it was thicker than the original. All for $9.49. It was similar to Andersen’s kit, but it had a third bracket instead of 2.

I like supporting American workers but I just got a superior quality hinge for roughly one-third the price. Sorry Andersen, but I don’t think your labor and regulation costs are really the reason for that price. I suspect you are charging this because a lot of folks won’t bother to comparison shop.
Yes, there was an immediate negative response to the shirt, both directly to Amazon and on social media, with customers threatening to cancel their Prime accounts unless the shirt was removed. Amazon took the listing down asap. Amazon probably doesn’t have the staff to monitor the mountain of third-party sellers’ merch, so it relies on customer complaints . . . especially when their bottom line is at stake.
