WASHINGTON, July 26 (Reuters) - Former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle endorsed U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential bid on Friday, the latest move by top Democrats to unite around a new champion against Republican Donald Trump in the Nov. 5 election. The Obamas' endorsement came five days after President Joe Biden, 81, dropped his reelection bid in the face of mounting opposition within his own party, and as a fresh wave of opinion polls show Harris starting to erode Trump's lead. "We called to say Michelle and I couldn't be prouder to endorse you and to do everything we can to get you through this election and into the Oval Office," Obama told Harris in a phone call posted in an online video by the campaign. "I am proud of you. This is going to be historic," the former first lady told Harris.

There is an obvious animosity between Biden and Obama... Obama was in favor of an open convention and the selection of a ‘male’ nominee to the slaughter that’s sure to happen in November.
Kamala will make the selection of his wife in 2028 problematic... With both Hillary and Kamala losing to Trump, the likelihood that the Democrats will select a woman in 2028 is about zero. So any ambitions he and his wife had for the Presidency have now been extinguished. A Kamala loss will result in Democratic Male nominees for the next several election cycles.

Please. The media is gaslighting us and propping up Kamala to be some unstoppable force that she clearly isn’t. The momentary euphoria will be replaced soon with the realization that Harris will be even worse than Biden in the White House.

Are you joking? At this point? I have to admit the switch up by the Dems is cheating because President Trump based his choice of VP on what Biden was going to do. That being said, Trump also based his choice on the VP taking over as President in case of an emergency.
I cannot fathom a woman president. There is no one that I can think of, with the exception of Sarah Huckabee-Sanders, who could do the job. We do NOT have a Margaret Thatcher available.

Got to admit, it's quick and convenient, you can just phone it in. Why bother with campaigning or groveling for public support, that's so tedious and they're so fickle. We could just do away with primaries and conventions altogether!
I'm sure the city of Chicago is breathing a sigh of relief now, protests and demonstrations are just a waste of time and energy when the decision's already made.
So Kamala is the choice without even one vote being cast for her by rank-and-file democrats or delegates either. How efficient!
What's the next step in streamlining "Our Democracy"? The November vote, of course. Campaigning and rallying are so last-century, all the legwork and the phonework, setting up all those drop boxes and printing all those ballots. Who needs it when they've already decided who is best?
