Rumors of Trump suffering buyer's remorse after choosing Vance as his 2024 running mate have been rampant since President Joe Biden dropped out of the race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the likely Democratic presidential nominee.
While Trump has publicly insisted that he is happy with Vance, saying the senator is "doing a fantastic job" and has been "very well received" by the public during a Fox News interview on Thursday, worries remain about whether the Ohio senator could be a liability for Republicans in November.
Paul Begala, who served as White House adviser and chief strategist during Clinton's successful 1992 campaign, suggested during a CNN appearance on Thursday night that Trump may decide to ditch Vance in favor of former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley.

Exactly. This is the same Newsweek that just wrote an article framed as if Trump is terrible at golf citing a viral video of Trump playing a really good game of golf.
And of course they just ran with the crazy leftists’ “ear truther” claims that Trump wasn’t hit by a bullet but shrapnel, even though the bullet cut across his ear from the exact direction of the gunman, he could hear the whizzing of the bullet, two people were shot in the stands behind where his head was facing when he was shot, and there was nothing there to create any shrapnel with intact teleprompters. It’s all so sick, just to downplay his injury and risk, take away his “I took a bullet for democracy” line, and the belief of many that divine intervention took place. There is literally no evidence for this (and Trump posted that the FBI never checked on his injury); it’s just propaganda.
