Barack Obama is “very upset” with Democrat President Joe Biden for endorsing Kamala Harris as his replacement in the presidential race, according to a new report.
Biden family sources reportedly told the New York Post that Obama is warning that Harris “can’t win” the election against President Donald Trump.
As Slay New previously reported, Obama issued a statement to publicly praise Biden for stepping down.
When Biden announced Sunday that he was dropping out of the race, he endorsed Harris to replace him on the Democrats’ 2024 ticket.
However, while Obama backed Biden’s decision to drop out, he stopped short of supporting his choice of Harris as his replacement.
Obama’s failure to endorse Harris has left many questioning why.
Several prominent Democrats and top megadonors have thrown their support behind Harris, including the Clintons.
Obama’s refusal to endorse Harris has led to speculation that he may be planning his own power move by pushing his wife Michelle for the nomination.
According to the Post, however, Obama simply believes that Harris will lose to Trump.
“Obama’s very upset because he knows she can’t win,” the Biden family source told The Post.
“Obama knows she’s just incompetent — the border czar who never visited the border, saying that all migrants should have health insurance.
“She cannot navigate the landmines that are ahead of her.
“When you are running for president there are things you can and can’t say.”
The turning point for Biden, 81, came after his disastrous performance against Trump in a televised debate in Atlanta last month.
Biden’s trainwreck debate performance provoked large numbers of Democrats to call for the president to drop out of the race.
However, reports have since emerged to reveal that the debate was part of an “elaborate set-up” to remove Biden from the race.
Yet, according to the Biden family source, Obama and other top Democrats are bracing for Harris to be crushed by Trump during the next TV debate.
When Biden was still in the race, a second debate was scheduled for September 10.
“Wait until the debate… She can’t debate,” the source said.
“She’s going to put her foot in her mouth about Israel, Palestine, Ukraine.
“She’s going to say something really stupid.
“Obama knew this was going to happen, Joe knew this was going to happen.
“Now she is going to have to answer real questions.”
According to the source, Obama was secretly leading efforts to push Biden out, as Slay News reported.
Obama was reportedly linked to an article written by George Clooney in the New York Times asking Biden to step aside.
The article was part of Obama’s plan, the source revealed.
However, the higher-ups in the Democratic Party didn’t count on Biden endorsing Harris right away.
“Obama was shocked” when Biden endorsed her, according to the insider.
After Biden’s ouster, Obama wanted Democrat Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ) “at the top of the ticket” when the Democratic National Convention is held next month, the source said.
Obama is “furious,” things haven’t gone his way, which is why he is not joining in the Democratic Party’s support of Harris,” the Biden source added.
Another well-placed Democrat source said, “Obama being surprised by a smart political decision actually makes sense when coupled with his personal inability to see politics beyond his singular, immediate interests.
“Obama always thinks he is the smartest and coolest guy in the room.
“He’s friends with George Clooney, after all.”
Rod Blagojevich, the former governor of Illinois who denounced Obama as a “threat to democracy” in a Wall Street Journal op-ed Tuesday, said he believes “Obama was instrumental” to getting Biden out of the race.
Blagojevich, a former Democrat who is now supporting Trump, was governor of Illinois when Obama became a state senator in 2005.
“It [Biden’s departure from the race] couldn’t have happened without him [Obama],” Blagojevich asserted.
“Without Obama, Biden is still the Democratic nominee.
“Obama was the conductor leading the orchestra that convinced Biden to step aside.”
In order to allow Hillary Clinton a shot at the White House, Obama persuading Biden not to run for the presidency in 2016.
This has also since been a sticking point between them, according to reports.
“He was not encouraging,” Biden later told the New York Times, referring to Obama.
Obama believed at the time that Hillary Clinton had a better chance of beating Trump.
“He’s running the Democratic Party like a Chicago ward boss from the shadows in the back room,” Blagojevich continued.
“In this case, it’s a big backroom because he has a lot of big houses.”
They were both brilliant picks. Their role was as impeachment insurance. It worked beautifully.

Imagine a convention that tosses Harris out and puts in two new candidates. Less than 80 days from an election, you will now have $300,000,000 (plus) dollars tied up in court. That means the candidates would start out with $0 and no money to buy commercial spots, set up rallies, or hire staff. That makes me think they're stuck with Harris, and Obama may not be happy about it. Or he may not care.
It's too late, she's their candidate.
Maybe Harris appreciated Joe’s loyalty and let him sniff her hair.

Obama believes that Trump has enough wariness, experience and connections that he can avoid the same pitfalls he experienced in his first term.
Clinton’s endorsement of Kamala is even more proof to me that in 2016 they didn’t just forget to cheat. It went down exactly as Obama planned it. The fact that Biden chose not to run against Hillary for the nomination is even more indication that the fix was in.
To add another hypothetical:
I believe if JFK Jr. had lived, he would have been elected as either a governor or a senator in the early 2000s, and he would have been chosen as Obama’s running mate in 2008.
I guess Obama doesn’t talk to all the pearl clutching FReepers.
