It is my belief that at this point, Republicans would win every national election if not for cheating.
All Obama’s machine had to do in 2016 is fail to cheat. Then his longtime hated rival would be vanquished (Hillary) and he could continue to run Washington through the bureaucrats he spent 8 years putting in place. He would bide his time until he WOULD steal it in favor of a brain dead puppet.
