I came home from TDY after 9/11 and read. Til all hours. The Islamic world had been my content area.

It's interesting to note that strict Islamic belief states that atheists and pagans are more reprehensible than those who believe in "the religions of the Book", i.e. Jews and Christians. And yet, somehow Islamic countries are able to have friendly relationships with atheist countries like Russia and China, and pagan countries like India.

Ever hear of the Hindu Kush mountain range ? It means 'Hindu Killer'. The area is mostly Islamic now because of all that killing. Here in the West we mourn the loss of the Library of Alexandria. In India there once was a vast library called Nalanda. Invading Islamic armies burned it down. The library was so vast it took days for it all to burn. To this day the hate between Mozlems and Hindu's continues to simmer.

While I dint think we should be sending millions in aid to Israel, I do think we should get out of the way and let them do what they think is necessary to protect themselves.
