The bipartisan hounding that got Jill Biden’s inept choice for Secret Service director kicked to the curb (new regime and all) didn’t solve anything. It’s rarely just one man or woman and even more rarely the one at the top. The top guy, whether it was Cheatle, Mayorkas, Biden or Garland, is usually just the buffoon and fall guy out front while the radical pros with actual ideas implement their agenda.
So no, nothing is going to change.
The Secret Service has recommended that the Trump campaign no longer schedule outdoor rallies in the wake of the assassination attempt against the former president.
Since the July 13 shooting in Butler, Pa., Secret Service officials have communicated the agency’s concerns about large outdoor events featuring Trump to his campaign advisers, encouraging them to no longer hold the 78-year-old Republican nominee for president’s rallies out in the open, according to the Washington Post.
The Trump campaign appears to have heeded the agency’s concerns and is scouting indoor venues for future gatherings and not currently planning any large outdoor events, the outlet reported.
That significantly reduces the possible number of venues, raises costs, and will likely reduce the number of events. This is a heckler’s veto that benefits one side in this election and it’s not the side that got shot.
Sure, the Secret Service could do its job, but like most of the federal government these days, the job, as defined by the top echelons, is to ‘fortify democracy’ by sabotaging Republicans and electing Democrats.
The idea here is to either cripple Trump’s rallies, the strongest part of his campaign, or if the campaign keeps doing them and there’s another assassination attempt, to blame it on Trump for not listening.
Agreed. This is simply a way to limit Trump’s ability to reach people with his message.
Build, on-stage, see-through walls made up of that stuff the Pope-mobile is made of.
When Trump spoke to the crowd on J6, he was behind bullet-proof glass the entire time. They need to do something similar so outdoor rallies can be held. (They will also have to do something to prevent the inside of the enclosure from getting too hot.)
After getting shot with a DemonRAT teleprompter it’s probably a good idea to stay indoors.
Another round-about way of saying “we’re incompetent”. If they had done even a basic job Trump would have never been shot at, the shooter would never have gotten on the roof. He’s better off with his own security.
Hire Erik Prince and his Blackwater guys.
Screw the Secret Circus.
You are correct.
The video that was all over the internet last night showed a SS agent on the roof with the body of the shooter to his left.
The SS agent was going over what happened with several police/SS/SWAT type looking men.
Behind him you could see the open window where the SS had their own sniper nest. It was a direct line of site to the roof where the shooter was on. Meaning, HOW could their own snipers have possibly missed the shooter on the roof with a rifle?
It has also come out that the three bumbling women were not even SS agents. They were just DHS employees dressed up in suits. They did not have any security experience.
My point is that it is hard to believe that there could possibly be this level of incompetence. This goes along with the fact that they say this kid with a range finder and a drone prior, walking around the event. Why was he not questioned and taken into custody?
IF Trump gets elected there needs to be CRIMINAL Federal charges brought. Then there will be people that will flip and talk.
That’s their answer? That sounds like a way to absolve themselves of any scrutiny and possibly a restriction of President’ Trump’s First Amendment rights. It also sounds like a threat if something should happen, they won’t be able to handle it. Well I guess that already happened….
Instead of “urging” they’re now “telling?”
Indeed their warning is a cover up story for when they fail again.
When incompetence reaches the top everyone and everything is at risk.
More Proof = Biden / Harris
When there is an actual threat to Democracy (A political nominee not beimg able to campaign) the media is radio silent.
Fact: Biden got 2.5 weeks of scrutiny and was forced to drop out. The media scrutinizes Trump at a far harsher, and unfair, level and has been trying to push him away for 9 years and haven’t been able to. Someone like that is not controllable and that’s why the agencies want absolutely nothing to do with him. Make no mistake, if Kamala becomes President it’s because the media and the agencies want it to happen. That is not a mandate from the people and thus she’ll owe the people nothing and will answer to those who lifted her up and those who can, like Biden, tear her down.
Trump should hire Blackwater to augment the USSS detail and bill the government for it. If Biden/Harris/Obama/Clinton/Pelosi deny the charges, just wait and resubmit them after Jan 20.
Also, they want him to move to indoor rallies in larger towns, so it is easier to organize antifa members to terrorize Trump attendees and blame it on Trump’s “tone”. That is partially why they held them in rural areas.
You are spot on. I hope the Trump team doesn’t fall for it.
It is to the point that Trump needs to gather his own Praetorian Gard.
It is obviuos that the FBI/SS/ etc are incapable and unwilling to protect him.
Imagine the severity of the house cleaning in the SS once Trump is in office...
The Secret in Secret Service is that the management is incompetent.
Does this mean his inaugural address should be inside also?
Anyone with two brain cells to rub together probably called an attorney - the attorney probably advised the dad to talk to no one, and especially not press, lest he say something seemingly innocent that winds up being used to charge him as an accomplice, or used against him in a wrongful death suit.
The press was talking to just about everyone else they could find - kids from school, even those whom didn't take classes with him (the reporters reaction when the kid they were interviewing said he had know classes with the failed assassin was hilarious).
