Her father was Jamaican, but apparently descended from an Irish plantation owner and African slave woman. Mulattos were generally treated like, and lived among the Africans.

I’ve heard this before. She identifies as black, others label her as black. I looked up a pic of her father after someone said he was a white Jamaican. But he looked light-skinned, possibly black. If anyone can choose a mix of Heinz 57 genders, then one can pick their race, I suppose.
What is her racial make-up anyway?
