Biden returns from Delaware on Tuesday after recovering from Covid at his house there.
WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden will give a prime-time address from the White House on Wednesday to discuss his decision to exit the presidential race, according to a source familiar with the matter.
Biden issued a letter on Sunday saying he would not accept the Democratic nomination and then endorsed his running mate, Vice President Kamala Harris, to replace him atop the ticket. Biden was diagnosed days before with Covid, which delayed him giving remarks about the decision.

He wants to stay on to the bitter end. If Trump wins, I expect Biden to resign immediately making Kamala the first woman President and the first Asian President.
At first I thought he will come out and resign, saying its true, Im dying..I have end stage pancreatic cancer, but I guess he cant do that since for MONTHS his doctors have been saying he’s in tip top shape..and he cant say that the bad poll numbers are the reasons why he quit because that totally screws over the 14 million people who voted for him
He cant invoke the 25th amendment without implicating Kamala, who has been lying for YEARS saying that Biden is cognitively perfect..so saying he’s senile now would make her look bad
Ya know what, I would actually have an ounce of respect for biden if he came out and said “They gave me a prepared statement, but I wont say it, they wanted me out, I told them NO, they threatened me, they are forcing me out, the elitists in my party want me gone, they put a gun to my head and forced me out for Kamala, who I dont think can beat Trump either”
Boy, if he’s half as prepared for this address as he was for the debate, we’re in for a real treat.
If he’s going to use the WH to discuss the campaign, then Biden should use the setting to tell his supporters to step back from the brink, regain their sanity, and put an end to assassination attempts and political violence. We don’t need him to rehash the far less important matter of him dropping out.
