What does faking the call get them…..nothing but trouble. So VP Harris, potentially the next POTUS was knowingly talking to a fake Biden? Great way to enter a campaign. By the way, was Harris temporarily sworn in as President while Joe has been incapacitated?

My two cents...he suffered a nervous breakdown/panic attack. Also COVID. I believe his doctor, but don’t think he’s telling the whole story.
Democrat leaders have been ruthless in forcing him to step down. Imagine the sense of betrayal and alienation, as well as intense anger, he must feel. Granted, he brought this upon himself.
Republicans would do well to paint him as a sympathetic figure with the ruthless hyenas circling him at every turn.

I am reminded of a news story from 1975. By then Howard Hughes had been out of public sight for so long that a judge announced that if Hughes did not show himself, he would be declared legally dead. A few months later, Hughes was dead. He had to die to prove to everyone he had been alive for all the previous years.

If Biden really has Covid (and it is still going around), he should rest a few days and shake the bug. Since he’s not running for re-election, this should be no big problem to do.
