Joe Biden was forced to leave the presidential race after high-level Democrats threatened him with the 25th Amendment.
Operatives at the very highest levels of the Democratic Party threatened Joe Biden with forcibly removing him from office unless he stepped down, sources told The Post.
The well-orchestrated “palace coup” to stop the faltering president seeking re-election has been in place for weeks, but stubborn Biden fought against it every step of the way, according to the sources.
Part of the “elaborate” strategy to remove Biden from the race – as he announced in a shock letter posted on X Sunday – was allowing him to debate Republican candidate Donald Trump last month on live TV in Atlanta.
During the car crash 90-minute debate, Biden appeared confused, slack-jawed and at one point he froze up, with his shocking performance turning the tide against him.
Biden is said to have stubbornly fought against the recent calls for him to step down until his shock announcement on Sunday that he will not seek re-election
Although Biden immediately endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate for president, the source said Democratic delegates will be strongly encouraged to instead back Arizona senator and former astronaut Mark Kelly for president at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August.

If biden is still alive and he has any sense left he would come out and endorse Trump..cause he got royally screwed by the Dems, they put a gun to his head and told him “Sign here”

Threaten him with the 25th, which wouldn’t allow him to pardon his who clan on the way out the door. (Which he can do NOW, if he lives long enough).
There’s probably an assurance that Kamala will issue the pardons should Joe pass before the end of his term.
Isn’t the White House expecting a visit from ahh some guy from Israel?
I had heard Netanyahu cancelled his visit but that may have just been his address to Congress. I believe he is on his way to the U.S. even now. I hope he has his A team security with him. I’m not sure who he plans to visit with while here. Certainly not Biden.

I’ve given that some thought - but it still would have given Trump a huge amount of leverage, as he could rightly claim that Biden was in no condition to debate, whereas every prior election had been preceded by debates.
Apparently Trump agreed to the debate because he felt the country needed to see how bad off Joe was. NPt for himself but for the country he was advised not to do the debate but felt the country should know.
The real coup.
How about who has been running the government the past 3 1/2 years? Biden campaigned from his basement because he already showed signs of dementia. He could only read then. He can only read now.
People who consume only the propaganda media never saw his dementia moments. That is why they were surprised at his poor performance at the debate. I was not.

Yeah, the man who faced down Corn Pop, drove big rigs, grew up in the black church, was a football great, and threatened to take Donald Trump behind the school and kick his ass. Many times he has said you don’t mess with a Biden and now we are to believe he backed down to a couple pussy bureaucrats? No way any sane man would mess with him. Although maybe Chuck Norris could take him.

I don’t think. The debate proposal was with rules and moderators ridiculously stacked against Trump. They were thinking Trump would decline and they’d run around calling him “chicken” and then refuse to debate when Trump countered with less biased rules.
