Donald Trump Responds After Joe Biden Drops Out Of 2024 Presidential Race
Daily Caller ^ | July 21, 2024 | Staff

Republican 2024 presidential nominee Donald Trump slammed Joe Biden after the president announced Sunday he was dropping out of the 2024 election.

Minutes after the announcement, Trump reportedly told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins in a phone call that Biden is “the worst president in the history of our country.”

“In a phone call with CNN minutes after Biden announced his exit from the 2024 race, former President Trump responded, ‘He is the worst president in the history of our country. He goes down as the single worst president by far in the history of our country.’ While it’s unclear who the Democratic nominee will be, Trump said he thinks VP Harris will be easier to defeat than Biden would have been,” Collins wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Minutes later, Trump took to Truth Social and claimed Biden “was not fit to run” for president and “is certainly not fit to serve.” (RELATED: ‘How Much Time Do You Have Here?’: CBS Host Presses Biden Campaign Co-Chair On Growing List Of Dem Defectors)

“Crooked Joe Biden was not fit to run for President, and is certainly not fit to serve – And never was! He only attained the position of President by lies, Fake News, and not leaving his Basement,” Trump wrote.

“All those around him, including his Doctor and the Media, knew that he wasn’t capable of being President, and he wasn’t – And now, look what he’s done to our Country, with millions of people coming across our Border, totally unchecked and unvetted, many from prisons, mental institutions, and record numbers of terrorists,” the GOP nominee continued. “We will suffer greatly because of his presidency, but we will remedy the damage he has done very quickly. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

The Trump campaign immediately began fundraising on the news of Biden dropping out of the race.

As always, there will be those around here criticizing Trump and telling him to just shut up, be gracious, etc. And that’s why Trump is on his way to being re-elected President and they’re not. Trump doesn’t believe in prevent defense, and rightly so.

"shut up, gracious, prevent defense"? Of course not. However, and just off the top...

"Presidential, principled, dignified, and Reaganesque" would be worthy objectives for our nominee.

I’m sure, in a moment of clarity, Joe appreciates your defense for him.

To: Bob Wills is still the king

Then they would be liars.

With his declining health, I wonder if he will be incapacitated before the election? Before Jan 2025?

Wonder if will see less and less of him. Scary because the world is heating up and I don’t mean because of global warming. Our enemies will see opportunity in weakness.

I still say the deal with FJB was to serve one term and then let Kamala take over and be the first woman POC etc and keep Trump out. Not only did Kamala prove to be far more horrible than they thought, but as he started to lose it, Joe and Jill switched gears and dug in. Not that it would have taken much for Joe to put his and his family’s interests ahead of everything else.

It must be really bad for him to for the first time in his life NOT done that today.

Being Reaganesque was great for Reagan. That’s who he was. But Reagan’s not running. Better advice to any worthy candidate is to be yourself and not pretend you’re something you’re not. The people want and need honesty, not nuance.

I’m not sure there was a real reason to go after Biden after he dropped

News cycles.

The news today is Biden is dropping out. Talking about Biden supports the story and gains traction.

There’s a time and a place for everything.

And this is the time and place to call Biden the worst president ever.

“I wonder how future history will define Biden?”

I think Biden may fall into the same slot as Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna the General/President/Dictator of Mexico. A politician whom nobody, on any side, likes.

The difference being Santa Anna was somewhat competent

I want my wife to vote for Trump. It would help if he would stop the name-calling and focus on policy.

And a bonus, Trump can always use the line: “I don’t know what she said. In fact, I don’t think she knows what she said.” Yup.

Speaking of leadership: If Kamala Harris is selected as the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, both Mr. Trump and Mrs. Harris will have standing and a duty to address the question posed by Art. II, §1, Cl. 5 natural-born citizen requirement.

This lawsuit would have nothing to do with Mrs. Harris’ competency or loyalty to fulfill her duties should she be elected to serve but everything to do with the security of the Republic electing a future president who may have divided loyalties from being born of non-citizen parents via 14A §1.

With our borders being overrun by foreigners, many from adversarial countries, the question of who is and who isn’t Art. II, Sec. I, Cl. 5 Natural-born Citizens must be addressed now while there is standing for the good of the nation.

BTW, President Trump said in December he did not think Rutabaga would be the nominee.

The thing about historians is that the further time moves past a given age the more the kind of people who chronicle History and were not of the age are driven to KNOW what happened. With many getting it RIGHT is important on a personal professional level.
