Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas, Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Kristie Canegallo, and the leaders of the DHS agencies and offices with law enforcement responsibilities jointly released the following statement regarding recent comments questioning the presence of women in law enforcement.
“In the days following the attempted assassination of former President Trump, some people have made public statements questioning the presence of women in law enforcement, including in the United States Secret Service.
“These assertions are baseless and insulting.
“Every single day, in communities big and small across our great country, women are serving in federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and campus law enforcement. They are highly trained and skilled professionals, who risk their lives on the front lines for the safety and security of others. They are brave and selfless patriots who deserve our gratitude and respect.
“We in the United States Department of Homeland Security — the largest law enforcement organization in the federal government — will, with great pride, focus, and devotion to mission, continue to recruit, retain, and elevate women in our law enforcement ranks. Our Department will be the better for it, and our country more secure.”

It isn’t about women in law enforcement. It’s about women of the appropriate height to provide adequate body coverage to a President who is two feet taller than them. You can’t be 5’4”, and give adequate protective coverage to a man who is 6’2”. Standing on your tippy-toes, while still only coming up to his shoulders isn’t going to save anyone’s life.

Gee, the questions I saw were about incompetent and unqualified women in law enforcement. So he is defending that? But now that he is squawking, I question whether Majorkas is qualified, too.
These people are not stupid. These people are not incompetent.

I'm sure there are women out there who are good at football as well. But none of them will ever play for the NFL because to play for the NFL, you have to be the best of the best. And no female agent, no matter how competent and talented she is will be among the best of the best.
And it's only the best of the best who should be entrusted with protecting the life of the president (as evidenced by the photos I posted up thread).
Are there jobs for women in the Secret Service? Sure. But not guarding the life of the president. This is a very specific task among many tasks in the Secret Service.
First thing: it’s now called the secret cervix (The C team, if you will 😉 ).
Second: I’m a chick and these DEI hires just don’t cut it in ANY capacity or job. Did you see the pic of the SC chick hiding/ ducking behind her colleges as Trump was dog piled on the platform? Coward at best. Prolly ready to finish the job at worst.
Are there women who can hack it? Absolutely. Those were NOT present in butler pa that awful day.....for a reason. This is 100% a conspiracy assassination attempt on Donald Trump’s life. And every time a statement is made by the FBI/SC, they dig the grave deeper. Only lefties with long TDS believe them.
If I was in the SS, would love to be on the President’s (45) protective detail.
One problem, I’m only five feet tall. I am physically unable to provide the protection needed and I’m not about to start screaming “sexism!” over it.
