I used to work just outside the fence of Dobbins ARB, mainly on an antenna measurement tower that overlooked the runway and other parts of the base. When the President’s plane was due in there were always agents out there at least the day before making sure we had the gates and access to the tower locked up where no one could get up there.

To me, a location like that so close and unguarded had to be either colossally inept (VERY un SS) OR planned. And I think what clinches that thought for me was the Director’s answer about the ‘sloped roof.’

Yeah, the sloped roof excuse was ...out there. Either dumber than a box of rocks from not understanding the reports she was reading or not reading, or flat out lying rather than admit she didn’t yet have the answers. ..in which case she should be grilling the personnel for the answer instead of just dropping an idiotic comment.

Has anyone seen the video with the guy on the top of the water tower? He had a spectacular view of the area and I assume he had binoculars. When the rounds started going off, he ducks behind the structure at the top center of the tank.
