The veteran reporter took to X/Twitter yesterday with the bold and categorical prediction, allegedly based on unimpeachable campaign sources, that Biden will drop out, probably no later than Saturday.
None of it was true. Was it wishful thinking? It’s no secret the media is desperately trying to oust Biden, fearing an electoral bloodbath in November.
The betting markets are moving in Biden’s direction as far as the Democrat nomination.
After the Mark Halperin tweet, the betting markets went absolutely bonkers, catapulting to $.92 that Biden would drop out. Today it’s in a freefall.
Re: 36 - and Halperin was clear. He wrote the “apparent state of play”.
Maybe that was the intent? There was something fishy about the Covid announcement, perhaps to garner sympathy?
For the record, I don’t believe he has Covid. It’s total BS.

More than 200 dems in the House and more than 50 in the Senate.
Not enough of them to push Joe out, certainly nowhere close to a majority.
Dems desperate to hold the House, otherwise it’s armageddon for all their policies.
That’s what this is about. They’re going to lose to Trump, even with all the illegal alien voters, most if whom have already voted.
The republicans are poised to win back the Senate as well.
The shrill cacophony is about not winning back the House.
If the republicans pass legislation banning illegals from being included from congressional districting based on the census, the democrats could automatically lose 20 to 30 House seats, permanently. This would be political armageddon for House democrats, and it would give the republicans almost permanent control of the House, at least for the foreseeable future.
This is why the media is absolutely DESPERATE to stop what’s coming.
