The U.S. Secret Service said Wednesday that it stood by its female agents and was appalled by some of the criticism they’ve received on conservative social media since Saturday’s attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.
The Secret Service, in a statement to NBC News, said that the criticism from pundits and influencers was baseless. The agency also stood by its commitment to diversity in recruiting as helping, not hurting, the effectiveness of its protective teams.
The statement follows a multiday campaign of derision by some conservatives who accused Kimberly Cheatle, the Secret Service director, of being unqualified and who said that female agents assigned to Trump hadn’t been physically capable of protecting him. Some critics said the Secret Service should return to being all-male, which it hasn’t been since 1970.

They looked completely spastic and near panic. They had no idea what to do. Pretty much they were in the way.
And if any of those undersized, over-wide women have a dating profile online, it’s almost a certain bet that it prominently excludes any man less than 6 feet tall.......

We are incredibly lucky DEI didn’t kill President Trump.
And that idiot Cheatle DEI hire saying the slope of the roof kept the SS sniper team off the roof! There’s hardly any slope to it. The sniper team managed it on their post. The assassin managed it. The investigators were standing on the roof in the same spot. Many of us have worked on our roofs with slopes far in excess of that assassin building roof. It was maybe 1:12 slope, maybe less. Our house has a 3:12 slope and I work on it.

For the specific role of bodyguards they were worthless. They looked like chickens with their heads cut off.

I am “appalled” that these clowns may have planned and implemented this attack on President Trump.
Focused on solving all the real problems: they’re feelings are hurt by all the criticism about almost letting Trump get murdered.
