Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino made a stunning revelation about security failures which led to former president Donald Trump coming within inches of being assassinated.
During an appearance on Donald Trump Jr.’s podcast “Triggered,” Bongino revealed that the rooftop from which the failed Trump assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks fired shots, was supposed to be covered by law enforcement personnel.
Bongino revealed he was told this by an “unimpeachable source” who was knowledgeable about the situation.
“That post, according to my source, that roof was supposed to be a police post. It was supposed to be someone there,” he said.
“They’re now making up excuses, saying the pitch of the roof… my source says to me, no one knows why the post didn’t show up,” Bongino revealed.
He added that Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle has been instructed by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to “keep her mouth shut if she wants to remain in her post.
Cheatle has refused to resign from her post following the aftermath of the assassination attempt.
The Secret Service identified a high-profile security vulnerability in the building but failed to protect the rooftop.
Moreover, security forces did not take notice of Crooks roughly 30 minutes before the shooting.
One law enforcement asset even managed to snap a photo of the suspect, though he was not confronted.
Cheatle attempted to explain why the rooftop wasn’t covered.
“That building in particular has a sloped roof at its highest point. And so, you know, there’s a safety factor that would be considered there that we wouldn’t want to put somebody up on a sloped roof,” the Secret Service director said in a statement to ABC News.
“And so, you know, the decision was made to secure the building, from inside.”
“They’re not putting that out there. But if you get those site post logs and those police instructions and it was a post on there and they didn’t show up and no one checked, someone could have got your dad killed,” Bongino said. “Within millimeters.”

Bongino said he would be revealing more details on his podcast.
“You’re telling me the best technology you have was deployed and you missed a shooter 130 yards? Say it was 200 yards,” Bongino told Fox News.
The Secret Service CS team, Pete, the counter-sniper team? And I’m not sure those two guys are Secret Service. We have to remember that we don’t always, when we go to New York sometimes with high-level protectees we’ll use NYPD ESU counter-sniper. So I’m not really sure.”
“Either way, they’d still be briefed in. The question we have to ask is, if that’s the best technology we have, and we had a CS team up there with a shooter that, you know, we’re trained out to a thousand yards in the Secret Service with the counter-sniper team. How did they miss someone at most, you know, one-fifth of the way there? It doesn’t make any sense.”
When the ship took out the FSKey bridge, my first reaction was what did the captain and pilot at the time have to say? I never, ever saw their statements. Of course, that type info will be verboten in this case. “Ongoing investigation”, don’t you know? You are going to get so sick of “No comment, ongoing investigation” that you’ll want to gag every day.
There are reports now circulating that certain people had heavily invested in DJT$ short positions in the week before the shooting. In other words, betting that the stock price would precipitously drop, once DJT was killed.
Local law enforcement reported the shooter 1/2 hour before the shooting, but nothing happened.
And local police snipers were denied permission to take out the shooter until after the shots were fired.
This is looking, to me, more and more like it’s possible that Trump was very consciously set up. With the Black Rock employed “shooter” being used as a patsy. And with local police and the secret service second stringers not being in on it, but being in their own way set up as well.
We need to insist on a real investigation by those we are certain would not have benefitted from DJT’s death. Which means no person or entity in any way connected to the deep state.

Bongino continues to dance around the obvious, that this was a setup. He keeps speaking about the incompetence and security failures, but won’t call it out for what it is. I guess his institutional history with the Secret Service is defaulting to the fact that he still feels that the Sec Service is competent, but screwed up in this case, rather than admit the alternative.
I think he believes that the SS personnel are still honest servants. If there was a conspiracy to allow access to hitting Trump it may have been with a very few targeted individuals vs SS and LEO as a whole.

They can be activated when needed.
Mayorkis ordered the Secret Service gal Cheatle to zip it, no transparency, no discussion, withhold all information from the public who pays their salaries. These are what Biden's people do.
Well if Mayorkas and his ilk are silencing people, our only hope is that some of the people who know the details are patriots and refuse to let the truth be covered up.

It sounds like Cheatle was instructed to say incredibly stupid stuff to support the “oops” cover story.
She has done an outstanding job of convincing everybody she is brain dead.

Everybody’s cell phones create an army of video and audio recording delivered to the NSA.
Even conservative media outlets have deep ties to the Deep State and it is an extreme risk to trust them.
Congressional staff is likely infiltrated as well.

Exactly my thoughts when I first read about the assassination attempt. The deep state keeps doing the same things, repeatedly, and expècrs better results.
These false flags have a certain evil air to them.

Our local talk show was talking about this earlier this morning. He said the shooter did enter the venue with a rangefinder and at the stage measured the distance to his perch. And was spotted and photographed by secret service.
Googleable. You could not write fictional assassination story that could have all the crazy incidents coming to light.

Oh, and one other point that just occurred to me- evidently the roof the perp was on “was too sloped and too da grouse evid etly” for ss, but not for the cops who apparently were supposed to cover the rooftop but failed to? Again- their excuse about the roof being too dangerous to stand on isn’t adding up at all. Yes there was a sloped, but my goodness, it was nearly a flat roof, and, again, the ss themselves were on a sloped building top near Trump znd had no problems
Mayorkas can’t go away fast enough. It seems anything he touches turns into disaster.
