Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday excoriated Democrats over reported plans to introduce legislation reforming the Supreme Court, contending that such a move amounted to an attack on the justice system.
Reports emerged the same evening that President Joe Biden is planning to endorse reforms to the court, including the implementation of term limits and a code of ethics. Such an effort comes amid longstanding Democratic frustrations with the conservative leaning bench and in the wake of a string of reports highlighting the justices' ethics disclosures.
"The Radical Left Democrats are desperately trying to 'Play the Ref' by calling for an illegal and unConstitutional attack on our SACRED United States Supreme Court," Trump posted on Truth Social. "The reason that these Communists are so despondent is that their unLawful Witch Hunts are failing everywhere."
"The Democrats are attempting to interfere in the Presidential Election, and destroy our Justice System, by attacking their Political Opponent, ME, and our Honorable Supreme Court. We have to fight for our Fair and Independent Courts, and protect our Country. MAGA2024!" he concluded.
Trump appointed three of the court's current justices, including Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, and Brett Kavanaugh, all of whom voted to overturn the constitutional right to an abortion established in the Roe v. Wade precedent. The court has also issued decidedly conservative rulings against affirmative action and other keynote issues.

It would be nice of Trump’s people on the Supreme Court went to bat as strongly for Trump as Trump is doing for them. But it could be worse, I guess.
The Democrats really do want a civil war, ‘twould appear.
And when the Sulrem Court rules the legislation unconstitutional? The communist DP must be stopped.

The pundits keep saying that Trump will talk about love and peace Thursday night since he came close to death. They say he will set a new tone. What will he cancel out that he has previously been saying?
The last time a president set a new tone was George W Bush, where he got slapped around for four years, without fighting back, and accused so the whole country started believing what the dems said was true.
Rush Limbaugh would grit his teeth over that.
That is what dictators do. When will the press figure out that they are next?
Constitutional amendment. Otherwise it’s DOA.
SCOTUS reform. If they were ahead 6-3 would they want it?

Trump said it himself in an interview with the NY Post - after getting shot, he tossed his convention speech to do a re-write focusing on unit.
Considering the Dems hardly waited even just a day before going rabid with attacks again, maybe the old speech is going to be revisited.
Longstanding conservative court? Hardly. We just got a “conservative” majority after how long?

Now if the same approach could be taken by all the FR folks who continue to live far in the past and refer to the communists as democrats...

I in no way am saying that Trump will follow in the footsteps of George W Bush.
That was just the last time I have heard about a new tone being set.
Karl Rove (turdhead, as W fondly called him) did say they made a mistake with that.
Has anyone heard of The Constitution of the United States of America?
The SCOTUS is a equal branch of the Federal Government. Neither the Legislative or Executive branch have authority over the Supreme Court of the United States of America other than nomination and approval of new judges when one retired or does.
The previous altering of the makeup of SCOTUS is dubious.
Forever, I think, since FDR, we were ruled by liberal Supreme court.
They came with whole bunch of crazy rulings, and, nothing could be done.
“You know, this is the law!”
Now, we finally have a conservative Supreme court, and, suddenly, all kind of things can (shall) be done!

The democrats Constitutional attack is their number one target then they rule everything.
They no longer hide their communism agenda they are importing the like minded with the mask of socialism.
A simple bill cannot be used to replace the Constitution. They have to get a Constitutional amendment to destroy our courts. They are good at destroying, but they’re horrible about doing the right thing. I can’t recall a single time when the Democrats, in the last 50 years, have done a single thing to help America.
