Physically unfit, under-qualified agents with a diversity-obsessed boss chosen by Dr Jill Biden! After Secret Service botched the Trump shooting, ANDREW NEIL exposes terrifying insider details of why they failed

It was a grey, drizzly Monday on March 30, 1981, when President Reagan emerged from the Washington Hilton hotel, heading back to his presidential limousine parked a few yards away.

His inauguration had been only a few weeks before and he'd just finished speaking at a lunch of US labor union leaders.

Along with the rest of the White House press corps I was about 20 feet away, roped off from the President. Suddenly, just as one of our number shouted a question for him, shots rang out.

In a split second, a burly Secret Service agent brusquely bundled Reagan into the limo, another pushed his colleague hard to ensure both he and the President were flat on the back seat.

The limo was surrounded by agents, guns drawn, the would-be assassin wrestled to the ground by the public as well as law enforcement. Reagan's vehicle sped off.

Within four minutes it was at George Washington Hospital, even though, not initially realizing the President had been hit (a bullet had entered his rib cage), the Secret Service had at first started out for the White House.

Reagan was close to death on arrival. But he survived, thanks in no small part to the speedy response of the Secret Service, which thwarted the shooter.

Now consider what happened when Donald Trump was shot on Saturday night.

The initial response was by the book. Brave agents piled on him to protect him from further bullets. They kept him down until they were told the shooter had been killed.

[“Bongino is no longer Secret Service.”

True. But he’s very well connected with people who still are.]

Political hatchet men will knowingly utter untruths - white lies, if you will - for political advantage. Not that this is some mortal sin - it pretty much goes with the territory. I like the time when he said blue cities were the unhealthiest around.

[“Screw up”

Biden’s future is now at stake because a security person did not do a sufficient job and a very nice man in the crowd got killed. It was not just Trump at risk, every person in the crowd was at risk.

“Let me close with this. Donald Trump is a genuine threat to this nation. That is not hyperbole. He’s a threat to our freedom. He’s a threat to our democracy. He is literally a threat to the America that we stand for.”

Joe Biden

https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/speeches-remarks/2024/06/29/remarks-by-president-biden-at-a-campaign-reception-east-hampton-ny/

Quotes:

the judge said, Trump’s words were “an implicit call for imminent violence or lawlessness” that is not protected by presidential immunity or the First Amendment.

The D.C. Circuit agreed with the lower court’s finding

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-jan-6-immunity-us-capitol-police-officers-civil-suit-appeals-court/

Pennsylvania authorities should submit a case to a grand jury.

If the grand jury returns an indictment, Pennsylvania should endeavor to legally secure Biden’s residences and get an injunction barring the US government from flying him outside the USA.]

This is one reason Biden’s political prosecutions were retarded. It’s banana republic stuff. I hope Trump stays away from reciprocating, lest we kick off a McCoy-Hatfield cycle, but purges the civil service the way Obama did, in reverse.

You don’t hear about it because they are pretty much only ever identified when they open fire. Until this event they would walk up with the gun hidden or fire from a hidden or obscured position. Not laying out on an open roof with a gun wearing contrasting clothing.

Point a gun at anyone and your average everyday cop is justified in shooting you.

Are you really dumb enough to think it is SS policy to let assassins take a free shot?

Any perceived threat of deadly force justifies deadly force.

People, even kids get shot all the time in these situations. It is tragic but it just isn’t a wait and see situation.

Now it has come out that even the sniper teams themselves had even sighted him two minutes before he fired. And they didn’t even try to warn anyone much less eliminate the threat.

The big question is who denied the permission.

It is also troubling that they asked for permission. Why?

Some people are saying that it is SS policy to require shots to be fired first. Which, if true, means that there is no such thing as a PROTECTIVE detail but rather just a reactionary one.

If that is the case, I want to know when that policy was made and by whom.

Was it perhaps made on July 13th?

To defend Pepsi Chick, ‘Slope’ has racial connotations.

Soon to be known as the S-word.

Watch the linked video.

She looked in the shooter’s direction, too.

re: “ he said was that the police and SS were on different radio channels so the communications were all screwed up.”

[Expression of disgust here b/c poster is painting with a broad brush]

NORMALLY a command and control center handles this by coordinating the different LE agencies involved, Local PD, Sheriff and USSS, each with their own digital P25 radio systems and EACH with their own encryption ‘key’ loaded into each radio via a key loader. Rather than mass reprogramming of radios (with new trunk talk groups) the Command a Control center, again, coordinates activities between radio systems and any coordination between groups. THIS is also an advantage BECAUSE so much traffic is routine anyway - so ONE channel is not tied up with each agency doing routine ‘ops’ (like reporting on station, etc) for that special activity that day.

In the past (don’t know about now) USSS has been on VHF High-band and local LE has migrated to trunked 800 or 700 MHz municipal systems that have other users like Streets and Water and even garbage collection user groups.

There are special radio interface ‘boxes’ (several RX/TX capable radios tied cross-channel) offered by Harris and Motorola than ca virtually ‘tie’ two or more disparate radio systems together, it would be fair to assume they would use one or two of those for at least ONE common channel between USSS, Local PD and the Sheriff for use as needed.

The question is whether people were getting the communications they were supposed to be able to get. And it’s a question because the SS agents with Trump should have known there was an active shooter situation but they acted like they didn’t know that.

So are you saying that the communications were fine, or just that you think the former SEAL who was talking about this was assuming that there were communications issues just because there were different channels being used (which you seem to be saying is normal)?

What I want to know is why the agents with Trump didn’t get him out of line of sight when the SS was clearly dealing with an active shooter situation. Do you have any insights about that?

Ppl were pointing to a building where ‘agents’ were staging, inside, but the shooter was scaling outside, and the poh-leece on the ground got notified by the ppl seeing that individual scaling the building then the poh-leece radios in what the ppl were seeing, and command and control answers back and says “Yeah, we know, have ppl staging over there.”

It could be as easy and as simple and as full of error as that.

Meanwhile the perp get a few shots off while LE converges on that building WHEN they realize they are staging INSIDE and not on the roof ... comms were okay, but there was a delay, a bit of a mix-up as things were sorted out.

Long story short - the building should have had local PD, or the Sheriff or USSS MANNING THE ROOF.

They knew from early on that there was a guy there who had the thingamajigger that tells you how far away a target is. They let him in because he didn’t have a gun then but they flagged him as suspicious. So from the very beginning they knew they should keep an eye on this guy. He was in and out and they saw him various times but by the time he was on the roof the counter-sniper guys on the roof behind Trump had their sights on him for at least 50 seconds. Apparently the counter-sniper on the water tower did also, if that was the guy who killed the shooter as Erik Prince claims.

By whatever means, those counter-snipers knew exactly where he was and that he was armed and dangerous. Various reports have said that they requested permission (from Command and Control? Or who?) to take out the threat and were refused. Why did Command and Control not have the agents with Trump get him out of there fast? If their communications were working enough for the counter-snipers to have quick dialog then why weren’t the agents with Trump notified quickly?

There absolutely should have been somebody defending that rooftop. But even without it they had counter-snipers in two different locations that should have been able to see the shooter and indeed had their sights on him for some time. It seems like even with all the failures in security planning they still had what they needed in order to stop this guy before he shot at Trump but for some reason they didn’t take him out until after he shot at Trump.

And they wouldn’t even had had to take out the shooter right away if they had just kept Trump out of view until whenever they DID neutralize the shooter. All that would have taken was basic communication that there was an active shooter. But they didn’t even do that!

Why not? That’s what I want to know.

This isn’t opinion. People on both sides of the aisle lie for political advantage. Bongino lying doesn’t make him stand out, but he does lie.

I’ve already given a likely construction or sequence of events given what we know up to this point.

Like a lightning strike, many ‘leaders’ are initially formed but usually only one return stroke develops; conjecture now is the formation of many leaders, but we don’t the ‘why’ that main stroke formed the way it did, like what policy was or was not followed, like who did or did not approve where personnel should have been positioned (like on a roof) and so forth.
