Seen for the first time since his son attempted to assassinate Trump, Matthew Crooks was pictured at the family home in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania as federal investigators visited Monday morning.
Clearly exhausted, his eyes showing the strain and the trauma of the past few days, Crooks opened the door to several members of the FBI who entered the unassuming brick home shortly before ten o’clock.
It was barely 48 hours since the Crooks family’s world was torn apart with the shocking events of Saturday afternoon when son Thomas Matthew, 20, opened fire on the former president as he addressed a rally of supporters in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Did Dad give it to him recently? Is it in the article? The guy liked to shoot for years. He sucked at it, but he did it. He could’ve had the gun for years, which is typical for boys in PA. Kind of a right of passage when you’re 12 or 13.

Unless there have been new claims, the original claim, made in a report written by 4 contributing authors (which is suspicious enough) that he had been bullied at school over his choice of wearing “hunting clothing” came from a student who admittedly never attended a single class with the shooter. So, this bullying claim is very thin, and could be completely fabricated.

Reminds me of the couple who bought the gun for their son, western PA or wherever it was that the teen murdered, even though the warning signs were all over the place. Parents being held legally responsible.
