CNN senior political commentator Van Jones warned that TV personality and model Amber Rose’s address to the Republican National Convention in support of former President Trump was the "most dangerous speech" for the Democratic Party.
The pundit expressed trepidation over the fact that Rose, a person of color with mainstream fame, spoke at the RNC, noting that she’s appealing to people in liberal circles who may be frustrated with Democratic policies.
"That was probably the most dangerous speech for the Democratic coalition," Jones said about Rose’s speech while covering the first night of the convention in Milwaukee.......
"I realize Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care if you’re Black, White, gay or straight, it’s all love. And that’s when it hit me, these are my people. This is where I belong," she said in her speech.
Jones remarked, "That is a young woman of color. She’s describing the experience a lot of people have, feeling that maybe if you’re around too many liberals you might get criticized too much, or you might not be able to speak your mind. And she spoke to it really well."

It’s dangerous when they stray off the Dimbocrat plantation.
Blacks need to come home to The Trump Party.
Can’t anything like that on the DemocRAT Plantation…gettin’ uppity an’ all dat!
The right kind of blacks. As Chris Rock said, there are two kinds.
Amber Rose was terrific- i was shocked when i saw her. She is a big name in the rap circuit.
Blacks who want their kids to have a chance with school choice and Blacks who want to live in safe neighborhoods and Blacks that want to work hard and live the American dream.
Her speech was magnificent and powerful. I loved the part where she talked about her discussion with her dad about racism. Then about how she feels loved by conservatives, something she never felt with leftists.
Exactly.
She is black?
Hawt, indeed.
But too bad about the awful tat on her forehead. I kept looking at that while hearing a powerful message from a strong, conservative, independent-thinking woman delivering an excellent speech. It was so incongruous.
Perhaps she has evolved and grown out of that silliness.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when she came on stage, but I was pleasantly surprised.
I think he's worried because that can be contagious and Democrats will lose if that happens.
Van Jones is a knothead and a real threat to this country.
This courageous woman just made herself a target of the left. She’s intelligent, did her research and called the regime out for it’s brainwashing tactics. She spoke from her heart and I admire her bravery!
Kanye and her basically said the same thing. When I put on the hat I felt power (He said he felt like a super hero). It’s called freedom. It’s called, I can believe whatever I want and no one can stop me. It speaks to something specific. Don’t know how many people picked up on that but I believe her real target audience will get it.
Van Jones is right that she is most dangerous to democRats.
I thought her speech was great, glad to see she talks about researching Trump for herself and stop taking the MSM talking points about Trump - many will start researching because of her.
She did very well, her speech was low key and humble, not an edgy speech with some subtle self promotion worked in.
yes he is
and i notice he gives honest analysis
rather than the standard talking points
not supporting him
just saying he is worth paying attention to
